Camila opened her eyes and smiled widely. It was the beginning of December, which was one of her favourite times of the year as it would start snowing soon. People were starting to decorate their homes with different varieties of Christmas decorations and the festivity made her extremely happy.
Christmas would be arriving in a few weeks so she had to start thinking about presents for everyone. Normani, Dinah and Ally didn't expect much when it came to receiving gifts but Camila knew they'd take whatever she bought them.
Lauren, on the other hand, loved gifts. Camila made sure to start looking around soon for the perfect present to give to her roommate.
Keana and Danny had returned from their trip a couple of days ago. Knowing about Lauren's feelings for Camila, Keana had forced Lauren to have the day off to rest as the green-eyed girl had had a hectic past few weeks.
Camila was excited as she would be hopefully spending the entire day with Lauren. Normani figured that Camila needed a few days with Lauren after almost three weeks of being separated, so she told Camila to stay home after many protests from the smaller Cuban.
After letting her mind run around with thoughts about Lauren, Camila reached over and picked up Luna from her spot on the bed and hugged her close to her chest.
Camila hadn't been this happy in a long time and she was thankful that she had a best friend like Lauren.
However, she wanted to be more than Lauren's friend. They had kissed, quite a few times now, but she wasn't sure about how the green-eyed girl was feeling.
She sighed and closed her eyes, thinking of ways to take their relationship to the next level.

Lauren had just made her way into the kitchen to start cooking breakfast when two thin arms wrapped around her stomach from behind.
Lauren couldn't help but smile. She loved the affectionate side of Camila.
"Good morning." Lauren said happily, putting her hands on top of Camila's arms that were still around her stomach.
"Hi. Well, good morning to you too. It's freezing and I felt like cuddling, so there you go." Camila replied, squeezing Lauren quickly before letting go of her.
"I love cuddling you." Lauren said, spinning around to give Camila a kiss on her cheek before bringing her in for a proper hug.
"Me too. I'm going to cook you breakfast, okay? I don't want you to be doing anything all day. Today's on me." Camila smiled, walking over to grab the items she needed for French Toast.
"You're so sweet. What's the occasion?" Lauren asked, grabbing an apple and biting into it before sitting on a stool behind the counter, watching Camila's movements.
"I was hoping we could go out and do something later?" Camila asked nervously, hoping Lauren would agree to her plans.
"Like a date?" Lauren asked, blushing furiously.
"Well...I mean, it can be whatever you it to be. I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable." Camila replied, staring at the sizzling butter in the frypan instead of meeting Lauren's eyes.
"A date would be amazing." Lauren grinned. It would be her first date and she couldn't wait.
"Really?" Camila gasped.
"Yeah." Lauren giggled. "Don't act so shocked, Camz! I'm sure it's pretty clear now that I like you, a lot more than a friend. Ya know, I don't ever really go around kissing my friends."
