Chapter Ten

Day of Dinah and Normani's wedding...

Two weeks had passed since Camila and Lauren had almost revealed their feelings for each other. They both wanted to tell one another how they really felt, but couldn't find the courage to do so.

It was now the morning of the wedding, and both girls were getting ready. Lauren was home because Camila told her to stay there until the wedding and Lauren was currently getting her makeup and hair done by Keana.

Camila was at Dinah and Normani's apartment, getting prepared with the help of the hired makeup artists and hair stylists. Ally wasn't part of the bridal party, but Dinah invited her to their place to get ready with them.

Dinah and Normani both chose to get ready at their home in separate rooms, but they wouldn't see each other until the wedding.

Camila didn't want to get ready in the same vicinity as Lauren because she wanted their dresses to be a surprise. She couldn't wait to see Lauren in wedding attire.

Ally, Camila and Dinah were all currently sitting in the living room getting their makeup done while Normani was getting hers done in the master bedroom.

"I'm so nervous and excited, guys. I can't wait to see my baby in her dress." Dinah gushed.

She had dreamt of this wedding ever since Normani and herself had gotten together. She didn't care about the wedding being fancy or cheap, she just wanted to marry the girl of her dreams.

"You two are so cute." Ally smiled. Over the past few weeks, Ally, Normani and Dinah had hung out and had become really close friends. They could talk to each other about anything and they wouldn't change a thing.

Dinah had also learned that Ally's new boyfriend, Aaron, was Normani's cousin so he was already invited to their wedding and he had asked Ally to be his date.

"You really are. I wish I had what you and Normani have. I can't wait to be married one day." Camila sighed dreamily.

"Well, you kind of do have what we have already, minus the marriage." Dinah smirked, closing her eyes to get her eyeshadow finished.

"Huh? No I don't." Camila said, confused.

"You do, with Lauren. You two are so adorable." Dinah teased. Anyone with or without eyes could see how much Camila and Lauren liked each other. She just hoped they would tell one another soon. Really soon.

"I agree with Dinah." Ally piped up.

"Are you gonna tell her you like her soon? You really should, Mila. I need you two to date and get frisky already!" Dinah said, slapping Camila's knee repeatedly.

"Guys, stoppp." Camila whined, ducking her head down.

She did like Lauren, a lot.

She hoped Lauren liked her too.

"So, Lo, what's going on between you two now?" Keana asked while curling Lauren's hair in loose waves.

"Nothing?" Lauren said. She wasn't exactly sure what was going on between Camila and herself.

"What do you mean? There's obviously something going on." Keana pried, hoping Lauren would finally admit her feelings for the brown-eyed girl out loud.

"I guess it's not nothing. We cuddle, and she kisses me on the cheek at least once a day. We haven't told each other that we like each other though. I think she likes me. Well, I hope she likes me." Lauren explained, sighing heavily.
