"_______~~", Jimin whined in his friend's ear. She was sitting behind her bench, still continuing filling up her notes even though the lesson had already ended for a while. "Don't ignore me~~"
Even when he said that, she pretended as if there was no monkey hanging over her shoulders, looking at every word she was writing. After a while though, as she felt her shoulders weighing because of his embrace, she reacted to Jimin's relief.
"Get off me."
"I won't", he laughed, "You're so cozy." He then snuggled even closer to her, making it impossible for her to write any further because he was obstructing her movement capabilities.
She put her pen down with much force. "You never th—" Her voice got broken off the second she felt his lips brushing against hers. She instantly shied away with a burning blush filling up her complete face.
All she wanted was to give him a good scowling. Never did she expect that as she would've turned her head just a little bit, their noses would bump against each other and that they would share a kiss... practically.
On the other hand, Jimin paralysed. It wasn't something he had planned out, though he couldn't deny he ever dreamed about it. He just never thought that it could actually happen in real life, and that made the butterflies flap their wings in pure delight. Slightly, he felt only one muscle in his body working, and that were the corners of his mouth, subtly turning up to form into a grin.
"Oooh! Have you finally become a couple?" a random classmate shouted, followed by the others cheering and whistling.
"You weren't doing some bad things after school when you were supposed to do your representative work, right?" Jimin's neighbour mentioned as he scooted closer to stare at them with a spooky grin.
Jimin pushed the guy back while laughing. The fact people thought they were a couple, made him happy. It made him think that, perhaps, they were not so far away from being lovers. He still knew what the feelings were on her side, but he couldn't help wishing. Wishing that he could change those feelings to his advantage.
"Don't pay any attention to these idiots", Jimin joked as he saw his friend still staring perplexed at him. He leaned forward to give all his attention back to her, but taken aback by the sudden action, she moved a bit backwards, thinking his lips would have collided with hers again if she wouldn't have moved away.
Jimin's eyes turned sad and she too could notice that. Before she had the chance to ask him what was wrong, his expression quickly swapped to a smiling face, confusing her of the sudden change. He then stuck out his hand so he could mess up the hairs on her head.
"Don't worry about it. Act like it never happened", he smiled, though he felt his mouth becoming heavy. "It was not a real kiss anyway."
With those words, her face immediately lit up, all her worries gone in an instant. Jimin always knew which words to say to comfort her. He always knew how to return her smile, even though his heart was hurting badly on the inside.
To the outside world, these two classmates would've looked like lovebirds, hiding behind a mask of 'best friends'. Taehyung, being part of that outside world, noticed this greatly. He always thought of this, but never wanted to acknowledge it. Though, standing at the door of their classroom, wanting to rebuild the bridge between their two classes and mend the friendship he saw vanishing into thin air, he fell right into the trap. His fists contracted at the sight of his friends, seeming to become more important to each other and leaving him completely behind. He ran away, believing that his reserved place in their friendship wasn't needed anymore.

"I miss Taehyung", _______ sighed and looked up to the sky. Both Jimin and she were lying in the grass next to the pond of the park. This had always been their usual meeting place when they were free from school. The fact that their little vacation had finally started, was an excellent reason to meet up more frequently and enjoy the peacefulness of the water, gently throbbing against the edges of the land. The only thing that was missing, was the presence of their other best friend.
"It feels like eternity since I last saw him", Jimin answered and looked up at the bright sky, filled with fluffy clouds he tried to make figures of.
"Me too. I wonder what's up to him", she sighed. Jimin turned quiet, because he knew all too well what was going on. His eyes traveled the sky, not knowing if he should tell her or not. Jimin then grabbed for her hand, to comfort her a little for the information he was about to spill. He didn't really know how he must've felt. He was happy, though knowing already what her reaction would be, scared him into telling her. He never liked seeing her hurt. He only hoped that his warm hand could give her the consolation she would have needed.
"Taehyung has a girlfriend", he spoke carefully.
Her breathing hitched for a second, worrying Jimin. He looked beside him to see the sad emotions covering up her face.
"Weird that there is someone who could love such an idiot as him", she answered and chuckled. "That girl must be stupid."
With that, she ended the conversation, leaving Jimin in unknowingness. When he searched deep into her glassy eyes, he could see that the one she actually was talking about, was herself.

Inside the empty room, the girl was sitting on a strange bed. Shoulders down and lifeless, head hung low, chest heaving at an unstable tempo. The cries left her throat, choking her into the lack of breathing.
Tightly holding onto her breaking hairs.

This was so cliché... 😖
