"I give you one last chance to save our friendship", Jimin said and pushed against Taehyung's back, as to give him the push to reload his energy. "She is resting at home."

"What is she doing there?" Taehyung asked back.

"She hated the idea of dying in the hospital, that's why."

Once Taehyung had arrived at her doorstep, her parents immediately answered the door after he had rung the bell. They pressed a smile out. Taehyung admired them of seeming so strong even when they knew their kid wasn't going to live for too long.

They led him the way to _______'s room where she was sleeping. When her parents left, he softly opened the door to see her with her eyes closed underneath the blankets. For a while he was stressing out, scared that she already died because she looked so peaceful and still. Luckily he noticed her chest subtly heaving, calming him instantly. The cries got stuck inside his throat, not wanting to say goodbye. He tightened his hands around the little dark blue box he was holding.

He took place next to her bed and then reached for her hands, touching her soft skin and feeling the warm temperature – another sign she was still alive. He couldn't keep the sobs inside anymore. Little coughs released his throat, throwing up the bitter cries at the thought of losing her. He moved a hand to her cheek to stroke a strand of hair away. Instinctively, he leaned forward and pressed a kiss on her forehead with trembling lips.

Slowly, _______ was pulled out of her dream once she was being awoken by the kiss. When she opened her eyes, she shocked as she only had sight on a neck. Taehyung pulled away, not without dripping a tear of him on her nose. She felt the water trickle down, mixing together with a tear of her own as she saw her best friend crying, who had denied any possible love interest.

"What are you doing here?" She asked, wiping her tears away, mimicking his same movements.

He whispered something ultimately quiet. She couldn't hear at all what he said. He stared at the ground to gather his courage. He gulped a lump of saliva and tears through his throat, wanting to free his mouth.

"I love you. I really, really do love you."

"B-But you said...", she fell silent, surprised of Taehyung's sudden honesty.

He bit on his lower lip to stop him from bursting out crying again. It felt incredibly good to tell her his feelings, knowing that she felt the same. But the happiness shattered as he thought of their short amount of time. It would all end in a fraction of a second.

"No...", she started crying. "No."

Taehyung was taken aback by her reaction. He looked at the little box inside his hands.

"What no?" he asked.

"You don't love me. You're only lying." She furiously wiped the tears out of her eyes, frustrated that they wouldn't ever stop reproducing. She started to despise the wet feeling on her cheeks that would turn sticky after a while.

"I really do. Ever since I met you and became friends with you, I desired to share a love", he confessed. He was ashamed that he hadn't dared to tell er he loved her when they were small. If he would've done that, then he surely would have had a longer period spending together with her. But time is impossible to turn back.

"Please, tell me you're lying", she begged. "I want you to", desperately whispering the last extract.

"Why should I lie?"

"Because! Because there is no future reserved for us! You should start loving someone else, because choosing me will lead you to a dead end." Literally, she added in her thoughts.

"The only choice I've got, is you. It has always been you. Even when you'll be gone, my love for you will fight on", Taehyung answered determined and then handed her over the little box.

"I don't want it!" she cried, pushing the present away. Somewhere, she already knew what would be in that box and she hated the idea of it.

"Take it! Please", he started crying out. This little present could give him the opportunity to accept her death. If only she would take it.

"I don't need it", she said a little more calmly, the sobs taking over her complete body.

"I need you to...", Taehyung murmured. "If you want me to forgive your death, then accept this."

These words strangled and persuaded her. She swiftly snatched the box out of his hand and when she opened it, she saw what she had envisioned. The only thing that was unexpected was a little letter of him to her, making her cry out.

"I can't...", she answered him.

"This... represents our unbreakable bond", Taehyung answered and then took the ring out of the box and stuck it out to her. She shook her head. Because of her stubborn behaviour, he grasped for her hand where he forced the ring on her slender finger, fitting perfectly. He smiled satisfied at the sight.

She quickly pulled her hand away to look at the ring attached to her hand. She squealed at the happy thought that should fill her head, but that was being conquered by helplessness. She had finally learned to live with her death, but because of Taehyung, she suddenly hoped that a miracle could occur to her so she wouldn't die.

Taehyung stared at her confused tears, letting go some of them himself too. Then he quoted the little text engraved on the ring.

"Wait for me."
