Taehyung tried his best to avoid his ex-friends. He didn't want to bother their love-time by being the third wheel, so he decided to just leave them alone. It's not that they would mind anyways, he thought while he felt the painful sting inside his heart.
But when he passed their class, seeing Jimin surrounded by people except for the girl always filling his side, he wondered what was up. He finally decided to enter the classroom and just ask.
Jimin already saw him coming and immediately jumped up to talk to him. All that time, he was wishing for someone to break him free from the loud group that was surrounding him. The only attention Jimin cared about was from his best friends, and knowing he hadn't seen Taehyung for a long time, not even once during vacation, he really missed that boy.
"Where's _______?" Taehyung asked. He felt a little bit awkward talking to Jimin again. It seemed like he didn't know anymore how they talked to each other previously. Jimin felt nervous too, what resulted in their talk to be short and superficial.
"She's a bit ill", he answered and hid his hands inside the pockets of his pants, feeling somehow embarrassed and insecure.
"Ah... ok", Taehyung reacted and with that little confirmation, he left the class.
Confused, Jimin turned back to his bench where his less important friends were waiting for his return. His classmates were making a lot of noise, though the thoughts inside his head conquered the sounds from outside. He wondered why _______ hadn't let Taehyung know that she was ill. Why did she entrust that information only to Jimin? But the main question to him was: Is this something I should feel happy about, or not?
~ 🐾 ~
It has been almost one and a half weeks since Jimin last saw his ill friend. He began to worry about her, scaring himself that it was more than a mere flu. He decided to visit her house, together with all his notes he could hand her over so she could pick classes up when she would finally walk back into school. He never liked paying attention during lessons, but to do her a favour, he did his best into completing his notes. After a while, he got so used to it that he actually started to like it a little bit too.
Once arrived at her house, he pushed on the doorbell. The ring could be heard even through the thick isolated walls. When there came no reaction, he tried ringing again and then looked through the small window.
His foot began tapping the ground in impatience. He was wondering what was wrong with her. He started envisioning possible scenarios to what could have happened, but before he decided to freak out, he planned calling for her.
He dialled her number and pushed the green button. Not hearing her ringtone playing through the walls, made him doubt if she was actually home.
While Jimin was slowly starting to lose his cool, the girl took her phone from the night stand next to her, awoken out of her light sleep. She felt horrible, she felt tired, she felt dead. Her cheeks became stiff because of the layer of sticky tears that were forming into a red facial mask. Her eyes were blurry and fazed because of the wet drops that had seemed to not ever stop procreating.
She was a little glad that her tears stopped for a while, but after clearing away the cloud in front of her eyes and reading the name of her best friend, new ones already pushed through. They dripped from her eyelashes onto the display of her phone, where the light turned on and off to alarm her there was someone calling her, asking the explanation for her absence.
The happy ringtone echoed through the shudders of her scared tears, impossible for Jimin to be heard.

I feel like the chapters are like mini-teasers. I'm extremely sorry for that if you're actually interested in this story 😖
I just want to complete at least one book!
Perhaps when I'm done with this, I'm going to change a few things and perhaps add a little more feeling to them...
I know that this is not the usual routine to take when writing a book, but I somehow can't stop myself from updating 😝
I'm so excited~~~
