Genos X Reader X Sonic part 2

Your pov..

After an awkward silence between us, I felt my body started trembling.

Shivers ran down my spine as the water droplets continued soaking my dress.

I felt myself heat up again but the coldness never leaves me.

I hugged myself tightly to warm my body.

Genos looked at me as my sight began to blur.

I held my head as it started to ache badly. I groaned.

"(L/N)-chan?! Are you alright? What's wrong?" Genos asked with a soft and caring voice.

I gave him an assuring smile and moved my head side to side to a 'no' sign.

Later on, a loud crash was heard outside the cave and Genos was alarmed so he took my hand and pulled me closer to him as he stood up slowly.

'T-too close..!' I thought but with just a blink of an eye, another unknown hand grabbed me harshly out of Genos' cold hands.

I flinched and shut my eyes tightly as that mysterious person took me away from Genos quickly.

He's too fast.

I felt so bad and weak and soon after, I fell asleep.

..

As I opened my eyes, I woke up feeling a tight grip around my hands and feet.

My eyes spotted the surroundings, white walls and violet chairs. The spacious room seemed to be empty and old. Spider webs scattered on the ceiling.

As I tried to move my hand, it didn't move. Just then I realized my hands abd feet were tied to a chair where I was sitting.

I felt fear ate my heart as the door suddenly opened, revealing a mysterious guy in a ninja outfit.

My eyes widen.

Could he be the one who took me away from Genos?!

I tried to open my mouth and talk but a cloth wrapped around it stopped me from doing so.

How cruel.

Tears were warning to fell down from my eyes as the guy walk closer to me. I locked my eyes with his.

I tried to talk but only a mumble and cracked words came out of my mouth.

"Whm.. Hmmm... Ummph...!" Was all that was heard from me.

The guy looked at me from head to toe making me scared even more. I'm conpletely defenseless.

He leaned on my face and closer until I can feel his hot breathe, I closed my eyes scared of what he'll do, but I felt the cloth being removed from my mouth as I sighed in relief and air.

He untied my hands and feet to which I responded by standing up and backing away quickly.

I froze in my place when he shoot me glares signalling me to sit back.

"W-w-who are y-you..? A-and w-why did you kidnapped me?! D-do you know that t-this is kidnapping?!" I asked almost yelling in fear as my fists formed into ball.

He grinned evily as he stepped closer to me.

Suddenly, he took my hand and pulled me to his chest hugging me tightly.

I flinched.

"L-let me go! W-what do you think you are doing?!" I said madly.

He let out an exhausted sigh.

I felt his chest throbbing quickly as my ears listened to what he whispered.

"Don't you remember me? (L/N)-san?" He asked.

My eyes widen as I tried to struggle from his embrace but I'm too weak.

"What're you saying!? I don't know you at all!" I shouted.

He placed his chin above my head as I felt his body calmed.

"I'm Speed o' Sonic. Your best friend...." He paused.

"And.... Your lover..." He continued making my eyes widen and suddenly pushing him with all my strength.

"B-baka!! You're a liar! I don't even know you! I-its ny first time meeting you! What are you saying?! Are you crazy?!" I yelled while blushing unconsiously.

His eyes widen in surprise and remained silent.

After that, he sat on the chair motioning me to sit infront of him.

I glared at him.

"Just do it." He said.

I sighed in defeat and sat on a chair infront of him.

"We were childhood friends. I was 13 and you were 11. We used to play hide and seek in this old and abandoned building." He started explaining with sincerity in his eyes.

My mouth was left hanging open a bit.

'I can't remember that. Actually, I can't remember anything from my childhood or past. I just woke up in a hospital one day.' I thought to myself.

"We meet twice a month cuz' my home is far away from your town and as a ninja, my identity is hidden." He continued.

'I felt like a sad atmosphere surrounded us.'

"We were happy until one day... You said you have to go away, far far away from me. Because your family and my clan were enemies. Your family stole the mysterious samurai that my clan once owns and was passed through generations. You said that we'd still stay friends whenever we are far away from each others, you said you'll try to return the samurai to my clan secretly, you did it but your family discovered what you've done and they declared war against my clan. Many people died, and it caused us to stay away from each others. Until your parents took you away from that land. You promised me that you'll come back and that we'll meet again. You promised me, I've waited for so long. Years passed by. But you never came back." He said as tears started forming in his eyes.

I stood up.

"Why?! Why can't I remember any of that?! Why?! Tell me! Don't make stories on your own!" I shouted.

"Your dad." He replied shortly looking on the floor.

"What's with my dad? I don't even know if I had a family." I said quietly.

"He erased your memories with his experiments. You were his successful experimental subject. But he threw you away when your body started to get weak." He replied making me groan.

"How did you know all of that?! How do you expect me to believe all your stories?!" I asked.

He stood up, showing me a crystal necklace that lights up inside.

"This is your memory." He said.
