Louis POV
I invited everyone except Harry over that Monday morning so hopefully they could talk some sense into Leila. I didn't want her to do this. And when she came downstairs and saw, I was quite sure she wanted to slap me.
Funny thing about this girl. I never liked her. But she changed my life. She changed all of our lives.
*flashback*
"Louis, if you're in love with him you should just tell him"
"You don't understand. I can't tell anyone."
"I bet he will."
*end of flashback*
I looked at Zayn, trying to be inconspicuous. He had his arm around Perrie. I instantly grew jealous and wish that was me. He should be holding me like that. My attention snapped back to Leila as she approached me.
"What the hell, Louis?!" I shrugged, putting my hands in my pockets. She angrily sighed. I didn't know what she was getting so worked up about.
I wasn't gonna let her needle.
--
The basement soon turned into a cloud room. There was smoke everywhere, the way I liked it. Even Jesy and Perrie were stoned. Everybody was laughing at Adventure Time on TV. Myself, not too far gone, notice Leila seize the time. She went underneath the stash table and pulled out a syringe.
"You sure?" I asked her quietly. She didn't even hesitate when she nodded.
"I turned my attention back to the TV, her sound effects being enough to know what was going on. After a while, I could've sworn I heard her say something else.
"Harry."
--
"Hey, where's Leila?" Zayn piped up. I whipped my head around. She wasn't in her spot. We were sobering up now, and everyone else started to notice her absence as well. How the hell did I let this happen? I called her. No answer. I tried again. Nothing. Goddammit. She could be so annoying. I got a text just then.
Leila-at the park.
Zayn's POV
*flashback*
"Zayn, you can't kick this. We know that. But you can fight it."
I looked at her, sitting on her bed. Her expression was stern.
"You don't know what it's like. I can't just cheer up and be okay. I don't want to be this way, permanently sad. It sucks."
"I know you can't turn it off. So you have to embrace it. We all have problems." She smiled
*end of flashback*
Louis yelled at us to get in our cars and go to the park. He had never been this serious about anything. So I nudged Perrie and she agreed. We all got our coats and rushed out of the basement.
"We all have our problems."
Perrie's POV
I had never seen Louis so distraught or nervous in my life. Whatever Leila said to him got him crazy to keep her around. Who could blame him though?
*flashback*
"You're too pretty to waste tears that's aren't for your wedding day, doll." She took the blade from me and held my hand.
