Michelle's P.O.V.
He's not coming. No, he isn't. I know him better. He's trying to be okay. And I have to understand why he is doing this.
But it still hurts like hell.
"Hey, babe," Michael started, squeezing my hand. "You alright?"
I nodded, curving my lips in a smile. "Yeah. Its just that... I'll be fine."
"He loves you," he reminded me. "You know that."
"I do," I pouted. "It's okay that I was sent back home. I just don't want to leave with us having this stupid argument."
"You'll never know," Luke cheered me up. "He might show up."
"Don't be ridiculous," Michael shook his head.
"Tell you what!" Stella chirped. "We'll bring you loads of goodies when we get back."
Apparently, I was the only one who was sent back home after the accident. Stella got to stay because why not? She is Michael's sister after all. No big deal. No issues. Delilah, on the other hand, is dating Louis. And he's Louis for fucksake.
"I guess I'll see you in a week," I smirked.
I said my goodbyes to everyone. Ashton wasn't able to come along because he was not feeling well.
When the attendant called on my flight, I turned on my heels, ready to leave.
"Michelle!" I heard a familiar voice shouted.
I stopped.
No. Can't. I must be hallucinating. He's not coming.
"Michelle, baby, wait!" He said again.
No, must be another girl with the same name.
I shook my head and continued walking when a hand pulled me by the waist and sprung me around. Within a second, I was wrapped tightly in the arms of someone. I can smell his familiar scent.
"I'm so sorry," he said. "I'm so sorry. I love you so much. I don't want you to leave. Please. Baby, please. I love you."
"Calum," I started, pulling away. He cupped my cheeks. There were tears running down his cheeks.
"Baby, don't leave," he repeated. "I'm so sorry. You know I trust you, right? I didn't mean it. I'm so sorry. Please stay. I don't wanna loss you. I don't want you away from me. Please."
"Calum," I repeated, cooing. "You're not gonna loss me, okay?"
"But," he started hicupping. "But. You. Are. You are. Leaving."
"Look at my big guy," I teased. "I have to do this. But you're not going to loss me."
"You are not funny, babe," he said, pouting.
"Oh, I'm not?" I frowned. Then I giggled. "I love you, Mr. Hood. You remember that, okay?"
"I love you more," he said, finally calming himself. "You message me, okay? And if there's WiFi, we will talk. We will Skype and Face time everyday. Stay away from Shawn. And Eleanor. I love you. God, I'll never stop loving you."
"I know," I smiled. The attendant called out my flight for the last time. "Well, I need to go now."
"Come here," he said, pulling me in a hug. "I love you so much."
"I love you, too," I smiled.
We pulled apart, as he leaned down and kissed me on the lips. It was short but probably the sweetest.
"I'll be home soon, future Mrs. Hood," he whispered. I can feel his lips curved.
"I'll wait," then I pulled away. I looked back at the others who were all watching us, smiling. I caught Michael winking at me.
And, for the last time, I looked back at him, memorizing his every features.
I don't ever wanna forget...
