Luke's P.O.V.

"Err, can we talk for a sec?" I called, the moment I closed the door behind. Calum's now asleep. Hopefully he won't be woken up by the same dream again.

She turned around, smiling.

"Not about Michelle and Calum," I immediately said.

"Oh. Well. About what?" She asked, curious.

Ugh, what are you doing, Luke?

"Do you mind if I walk you home?" I asked.

"As long as your fans won't chase after us when they see you outside!" She teased, giggling.

"Like they don't know me even before One Direction," I chuckled, playing along. "I'm still that weird, dorky, nerd Luke Hems!"

"Aright," she laughed. "Let's go say goodbye to Joy."

I smiled, as she led the way. Joy was at the kitchen, washing plates. The moment she sees us, she immediately asked how Calum was. We were back home three weeks after what happened to Michelle. Apparently, Calum was so devastated and wasn't able to concentrate anymore due to his frustration on finding her. We'll never really know what he's going thru but we know its hard, seeing as Michelle was our friend. Simon decided to let us on a break to help Calum cope up. Now, its been a month since she went missing, and we can see how hard it is for Calum to accept.

We shared a short conversation with Joy before we decided to bid her goodbye and thanked her for trusting us with Calum.

"So," Delilah started, after a few minutes of silence as we walk to her house.

"Yeah?" I smiled, looking at her. She looked back at me and smiled. She doesn't know it, but I really like how she smiles. I love how you can see clearly that she means it when she's happy, that its true.

I love how simple she is. I love how she's been there for me in everything.

"What do you wanna talk about?" She finally asked.

Here goes nothing, Luke.

"Dey, am I..." I stopped. Exactly how would I say it to her?

When she realized I was behind her, she turned around and walked towards me. Smiling, she said. "Dork. What were you saying? I didn't catch up."

"Dey," I repeated. "Am I a little too late?"

"Late for what?" She asked, curious but smiling.
