Calum's P.O.V.

"Ten minutes, guys!"

"Okay."

"You guys ready?"

"Wow, this is it!"

"Calum?"

"Remember, we're playing li---"

"Calum?"

"---ke no one's actually watching. We're gonna give---"

"Calum!"

I blinked, snapping back into reality.

"What?" I asked, looking at her and trying to hide the fact that I'm so nervous for tonight's show.

Its just that I don't wanna mess this thing up. Its our shot, our opportunity - maybe even the start of our career.

And then, Ashton decided to play the song I wrote. I'm not even sure if its a good idea. But, let's hope for the best.

"Are you okay?" She asked. There was a worried look on her face.

I glanced at the others while they talked to Louis. Delilah was out front, watching over the table where she and Michelle will be sitting.

And out there was the guys that works with Louis, with One Direction.

God, I'm so nervous.

"I'm," I started, looking back at her. I sighed as I continued. "I'm fine, babe. Its just... I don't think its a good idea. I mean playing the song. I---"

Before I can even finish the sentence, her lips were suddenly pressed unto mine, giving me a soft and long kiss.

I felt her lips curved into a smile. "I trust on your song as much as I trust you. You'll be fine out there."

I sighed once more, as my hands find its way to her sides. I rested my forehead against her.

"Hey, look at me," she said softly. Her voice is soothing, I know she's trying to calm me down. She cupped my right cheek in her hand, sending me some chills down my spine. Our eyes locked, and she said; "you'll do good, okay? I know you will. You wanna know why I know?"

"Mhmm," I hummed, biting my lip.

"Because you're brilliant and amazing," she smiled. "Because you're Calum Hood. You might not be the best. But there's a yet in it. And you have these three idiots with you. You have Delilah and I to cheer for you out there. And I'm here."

My lips curved into a thin smile. Falling in love with my best friend was the right decision I ever made. She knows me so well.

"Whatever happens out there," she continued. "I'm here for you. I love you, Calum."

"I love you, Michelle," I replied, planting a kiss on top of her head before bringing my lips to hers. "More than you could ever imagine."

She smirked. "Now, go out and kill it!"

"What if---" I started, doubting again about singing the song I wrote.

But she seems to know what I was about to say and had cut me off immediately.

"Uh, no," she snapped. "No what if's. Tell you what, I'm on the first table on the left. Just look at me."

"Just look at you," I repeated. "Okay, I can do that."

"Yes, you can," she grinned, pinching the bridge of my nose. "You cute little thing!"

"Says my little thing," I beamed.

"Can I look at you, too?" Michael interrupted, coming from behind me. I shrugged, turning around to look at him.

"Michael," I whined, as my arm snaked around Michelle's waist.

"What?" He chuckled. "I'm so sorry but I'm in the same room. I have eyes and ears that are functioning well."

"Your mind don't," I huffed.

"I love you, too," he laughed.

"I love you, three," I rolled my eyes, laughing.

"We're on!" Luke yelled. His face was red.

I looked at Michelle as she pulled away. She gave me a quick kiss and smiled at me. "You can do it."

I can do it.

Yeah, I can.

I can...
