Her small figure stood in the wind, chocolate brown eyes wondering over the almost empty café she was currently in. Cold hands held onto the cup of coffee for some relief of warmth, her light grey mittens not helping, considering it only covered her palms and not her fingers. In frustration, she took them off as she found no purpose for them anymore.

She took a sip, recollecting her thoughts from yesterday. Her first party didn't go out so well. All that was coming up to her head was the memories of her regretful rant she spoke towards the boy that was alone like herself. Green eyes filled with concern and furrowed eyebrows was what consumed her mind the whole day. She remembered how he held her crying figure while she spoke out her feelings about her not-so-glorious life. She felt alone and empty, and he was right there to comfort her. It seemed strange to her, how someone could care so much for a complete stranger like herself. He genuinely looked worried for her emotional state, the fact that she was slightly tipsy wasn't helping so he took her back home, not trusting her to get safely back herself.

Oh who was she kidding? She just met him and already she couldn't get him out of her head. She knew she was just setting her expectations too high, thinking he would actually show up to their meet up. He didn't care, no one did. She wasn't going to let him lead her on, she was stronger than thought. At least that's what she tried to convince herself.

Her thoughts were interrupted when the familiar male took a seat in front of her with his own cup of warm coffee. He flashed her a little smile as she just blinked her long eyelashes, her head instinctively facing downwards again.

Much more memories filled her mind as she couldn't help but stare at him.

"Your eyes are so pretty." Her finger carefully caressed his cheek, a small smile playing on her lips as she was mesmerized with the boy currently holding her.

"Do you live near here? Is someone suppose to pick you up?" He ignored her strange actions, wanting to help her reach her home safely.

"Oh." She furrowed her eyebrows, dropping her hand to her side as a small frown formed on her face.

Once he realized what she was thinking, he immediately explained,"No, no, that's not why. I just want you to get home safely. I'll leave as soon as I know you're okay."

She smiled again, ignoring his comment and throwing her arms around his neck, burrowing her face into the crook of his neck. He sighed and helped her into his Range Rover, careful not to drop her after picking her up because of her tipsy state.

She mumbled her address, laying her head against the window and smiling as she hummed a song, making him not be able to hold a smile back and he took a glance at her and switched his gaze back to the road.

"Hey sleepyhead, we're here." He tapped the window that she was leaning on, making her wake up abruptly and look at him and giggle, happy he was still there.

He opened the door, and carried her to the front door after her failed attempt to get out of the car herself almost resulted in a face plant.

After she motioned to where the hidden key was, he walked in and placed her down on the couch. He looked for a water bottle near by and made her drink it, taking a seat across from her. She placed the water bottle down and stood up, walking across the room where he was and taking a seat next to him.
