A/N: Mkay, so this is a quite long one, and a continuation to the other two parts of There Came A Time (that was previously named High School Sweethearts) after gosh knows how long, so y'all probably forgot what it was about. If you want, you can go ahead and reread them, if not a quick rundown: Harry finds out Ariana is back after 5 years of being in California after an accident that he just found out took her memory which leave shim shocked and hurt, and she doesn't know why she's upset over seeing him with another girl. Enjoy :)
As I entered my home, I threw my backpack onto the couch, Frankie quick to react to my current state.
"Ari, what happened?" He was quick to stand up, walking towards my still figure. I felt empty inside, as much as I hated to admit it. The image of Harry and the girl was haunting my mind ever since the encounter. I hated that he hadn't left my mind since yesterday, but this just added to it.
I shook my head, wanting to just forget about it, but Frankie missed to notice my sour attitude and pressed on.
"Ariana.." his soft voice sent something off in me, the tears that I hated to shed coming back. He pulled me into a comforting hug, his hand rubbing my back as I sobbed into his chest.
"I don't know what I'm feeling or why I'm feeling this way, but it hurts. It hurts so bad, Frankie." My voice cracked and coming out raspy as I continued to press my face into his chest, my sobs muffled by his shirt.
"Shh, Ari. Let's take a seat and you can explain to me what happened. Okay?" I silently nodded, the tears cascading down my face as I sniffled, wanting to just talk to someone about it.
After explaining everything to him, he remained quiet in his spot, looking forward and avoiding my gaze.
"What is it, Frankie?" I sniffled, wiping away the remaining tears. He shook his head, looking to be thinking to himself before he shot up from the couch and ran into his room, leaving me confused.
Composing myself, I remained on the couch when he returned with a book in his hand. I raised my eyebrows, confused as to why he had it in first place.
"A scrapbook?" I questioned him, looking at the title that read "A + H Forever and Ever" with a date under it. He simply nodded, gesturing me to open it, but not before he left me to go upstairs, leaving me alone with the large scrapbook on the coffee table.
Opening it, there's a small pocket with a purple bracelet popping out of it with beads spelling out my first name. Along with it, is a little note neatly folded next to it. Deciding to leave it for last, I put the bracelet and note aside, continuing to turn onto the first page.
The first picture I see is of two kids, a little girl kissing a little boy's cheek while he's blushing with a cheeky grin. The next is the same two little kids, this time they're up on a tree, smiling at each other while holding leaves.
The following pictures are of the same two kids, always doing something together--whether they're playing a game together, making a face at each other, or showing affection like a hug or holding hands.
I can't help myself coo at the cute concepts of each picture, smiling as the kids grow older at each page turned. My smile quickly fades when I stare back at the page I've just flipped onto. Right there, is a picture of what looked like me, my name spelt out over my shirt and the same for the boy, Harry.
I sat still in my place, looking at the picture of what looked like a younger version of him and I. I shook my head, not wanting to believe it. I eagerly turned the pages over and over, my heartbeat growing quicker with each picture that resembled the both of us.
