“You ever wonder what would happen if the three of us walked around holding hands?” Fallon asked.

At the moment she was holding hands with Griffin whom everyone would think was Lucian. In an hour, she’d be holding hands with the real Lucian and then back to Griffin and then back again. All day long they’d ride this ridiculous merry go round. Sometimes she longed for the freedom to be who they really were.

“I know exactly what would happen,” Lucian answered. “Last year’s threesome rumor would start up again.”

“Besides, I don’t really want to hold hands with Loosh anyway,” Griffin joked.

Fallon gave him a playful shove. “You know what I mean.”

“Hey, guys, wait up.”

The three of them turned to see Seth strolling toward them, surrounded by Ava and Daphne. Tarilyn was with them too.

“You guys missed an exciting game on Friday night,” Seth said.

“What happened?” Lucian asked.

“Seems like Donavan’s going to be out for the rest of the season,” Seth answered.

“What’d you do to him?” Fallon asked.

“I didn’t do anything,” Seth countered. “How is it my fault the guy broke both of his legs?”

“Both of them?” Fallon gasped.

“Yeah, it was great,” Daphne said and smiled over at Seth. “Anyway, I gotta get to class. I’ll see you guys later. Bye, Seth.”

“Later,” Seth echoed.

“Daph, wait a second,” Ava called. “I’ll walk with you.”

Daphne paused long enough for Ava to catch up to her. While the two of them walked away giggling like mad about something, the rest of them headed toward the north hall.

“Does this mean you and Daphne are back together?” Fallon asked.

“Nah, but I’m working on nailing her,” Seth laughed.

Fallon wrinkled her nose. “You know, every time I think you’re going to start acting like a decent guy you turn into a huge prick.”

Seth grinned at her. “Huge one, huh?”

“Watch your mouth,” the twins snapped together, and Seth raised his eyebrows.

“So, Tarilyn, how about walking to class with me?” Seth asked.

Tarilyn’s eyes widened. “What?”

“I think I need to get the hell out of here before I get my ass kicked,” Seth explained. “Wanna walk with me since we’re going to the same place and all?”

“Okay,” Tarilyn agreed as her cheeks pinked.

Fallon waited until she was sure Seth and Tarilyn were out of earshot before she turned a frown on the twins. “You two need to be more careful.”

“Sorry,” they said, and she gave in to a smile.

“I’ll just go to class,” Lucian offered.

Her heart dropped a little when he started in the direction of his first period without kissing her. Though she knew he why he couldn’t do it, she still hated it. Mondays were always the hardest for them. After having two solid days to be a trio, it wasn’t easy to switch gears to being a couple.
