3 Months Later




Adam's POV




It was official to the world that Sutton and I were back together. It was all over magazines, tabloids, and tv networks.




I wanted the world to know that I was back with Sutton and that we got to raise our daughter together.




But there was still one person that I hadn't talked to about it, and I'm sure he would have a strong opinion about it.




Blake.




Sutton was his daughter afterall. I hadn't spoken to Blake since Avery and Mason's birthday party.




I'm sure he blamed me for Brody and Sutton getting a divorce. I'm sure he liked Sutton better with Brody, probably because he was only 3 years older than her.




But what was I supposed to do? Leave the love of my life because her father/ my best friend doesn't like me with her?




It was weird to think about though. My best friend could end up being my father-in-law.




I pushed the thought out of my brain and slowly rolled out of bed without waking Sutton up.




I walked in Devyn's room and saw her coloring at her little desk.




"Good morning angel," I said as I walked over to her and kissed her head. "Hi daddy!" She said.




"Would you like to go to The Voice with me today? You can see Aunt Christina, Uncle CeeLo, and Grandpa," I said.




"Papaw is gonna be there?!" She exclaimed. "Yes, remember daddy works with Papaw," I said.




She got uo and ran to her closet. "Daddy help me!" She exclaimed as she looked at her large amount of clothes that lined the walls.




I picked out a black t-shirt that said The Voice Team Adam and white leggings.




"Here baby," I said as I helped her put on the t-shirt and leggings. "Thank you daddy," She said as she kissed my cheek. "You're very welcome," I said.




She ran over to her dresser and grabbed her hair brush. "Brush please," She said as she handed it to me.




I brushed her long brown hair and put a red bow on the back of her head.




"Wanna go wake mommy up?" I asked her. She nodded her head and I picked her up and carried her back to our bedroom.




I set her on the bed and she ran over to Sutton. "Mommy!" Devyn shouted. Sutton immediately woke up. "Yes baby?" She asked as she sat up.




"Daddy is gonna take me to work so I can see Papaw!" Devyn exclaimed. "Oh is he now?" Sutton said as she smiled at me.
