"I can't believe it." Lincoln said and I walked over to them, just as Lincoln was standing up. He wrapped one arm around me, pulling me into his side. He wrapped his other arm around LJ's shoulder and he kissed my forehead, smiling.

"This is crazy." LJ commented, looking at the two of us together. Lincoln looked down at me and I raised my eyebrows, understanding exactly what LJ was saying. He hadn't seen me and Lincoln together like this since he was eleven.

"I like your hair. Makes you look younger." Lincoln said, winking. I tried to stop the grin that wanted to appear on my face, but I couldn't help it. I was about to thank him, but I was interrupted.

"Sorry to break up the family reunion, but I think we've been made." Abruzzi voiced and Michael and Lincoln frowned.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Michael asked, walking towards him.

"He rode with me. I'm taking him as close to his family as he can get." I told him, reaching out to stop him from doing anything dumb. Abruzzi's fingers traveled over the hood of my car and Lincoln glanced at it.

"What the--what happened to your car?" I looked to see what he was talking about and my mouth fell open. Dozens of bullet prints sprinkled the hood of my car. Lincoln let us go and walked over to it, touching the holes. "You're lucky none of them went through because it would've destroyed your engine."

"Guys, John was right. We need to go. Now." Michael said, tapping the roof of the car. I glanced up and saw the cashier and some customers recording us on their phones. One guy was on the phone and I could only guess that he was talking to the police. So much for changing my appearance. Now everyone was going to know that I had short blonde hair.

"LJ, ride with me. Michael, drive Mel's car and Abruzzi, stay with them. Let's go." Lincoln ordered and we separated, hopping into our designated cars. LJ turned back and waved to me before sliding in the car. I held my hand up, even after Lincoln drove off, Michael following closely behind him.

"Is it weird that I feel like I just lost him again, even though he's with his father?" I asked quietly, tracing a pattern on my pants. I was looking down, but I saw when Michael looked at me for a split second and then focused on the road again.

"No, it's perfectly normal. I felt the same way when I was thrown in prison. I went from seeing my kids everyday to seeing them like once every few months. It's torture." Abruzzi commented, staring out the window. I sighed and leaned back in my seat, keeping the car in front of us in my line of sight.

"I wonder what they're talking about." I said. "LJ hasn't seen his dad in years."

"Mel, you worry too much. Why don't you just rest and stop stressing." Michael said, putting on his indicator to turn. I laughed breathily.

"I'll stop stressing once we're in Panama. I'm tired of being on the run and it's only been a week." I added. Michael just shook his head and it was quiet for a while, besides Abruzzi's humming.

"How did you find LJ?" Michael asked suddenly. That question threw me off guard, not prepared for it at all.

"The Company." I answered. "They somehow found where I was, kidnapped me, put me in a trunk, and then took me to some facility in the middle of nowhere. They semi-tortured me, but then I got free, knocked some people out, killed a guard, and then found LJ."

"If it was in the middle of nowhere, how did you know which way to go to get out of there before they stopped you?" Again, Michael's question had me stumped. How do I even explain that I had been there before?

"I-uh, saw on the way there." I said weakly. The car stopped at a red light and Michael turned to look at me, eyebrow raised.

"You were in the trunk." he stated and I looked away, cheeks burning a bit.
