"This way!" Michael hissed, waving his hand forward. We ran to the wooded area, and my chest burned. I wanted to stop to catch my breath, but I knew if I did that, we would be done for. Lights illuminated the dark area and it was only because of the moon that I could see where I was going.

"Go, go!" I felt Abruzzi push me forward as I started to fall behind. I didn't have time to say thanks because if I spoke, I would probably choke on air from how fast I was running. Lincoln was ahead of all of us and we stumbled upon a barbed wire gate. Linc lifted it up to give us space to go under it.

"Come on, let's go! Mel, go first." I nodded and ran to the front, sliding under the wire. I went right next to him, waiting for the rest of the guys to go through. T-bag was second to last and before he went under, he snarled at Lincoln.

"Don't be thinking your old lady can get privilege before any of us, Sink." he said. Lincoln grabbed his shirt and yanked him towards him.

"She can get whatever she wants before any of you goons because she's my wife. You got a problem, then leave." Lincoln shoved him away and T-bag said nothing as he followed everyone else. Abruzzi didn't rush when he walked under. When Lincoln finally came on the other side, Abruzzi pulled him aside.

"T-bag won't be a pest for much longer." he whispered and I raised my eyebrows. So much for being a changed man.

"Meaning?" Lincoln asked. Abruzzi didn't answer. He only smiled and took off after the rest of the guys. I walked over to Lincoln and put my hand on his shoulder.

"Don't stress." I said, looking up at him. He slipped his arm around my waist, pulling me to his front. I put my other hand on his right shoulder, massaging it a bit.

"When we're safe, I'll help you hunt down the rest of the Company." he said out of the blue. My mouth went slack and my heart skipped a few beats.

"You'll actually do that?" I whispered, feeling the sting of tears at the back of my eyes. His hand slid to my face and he cupped the back of my neck.

"They killed my son too." he said, emotion thickening in his throat. I brought his head down so that our foreheads would be pressed together and he closed his eyes. I closed mine too and we held onto each other, thinking of our son. I would never stop hunting down the people who killed LJ. Never.

"Hey! Love-birds. We're kinda being hunted. Right now is not the time to-"

"Shut the hell up." Lincoln snapped, cutting C-note off and opening his eyes. He looked at me for a beat before releasing me. He sighed and kissed my hand. "Later."

"Okay." I whispered. I squeezed his hand one last time and jogged to where the guys were running.

"Where the hell is the van?" Sucre asked, holding his arms out for everyone to stop running. We all looked around and all I saw was a barn, an abandoned building, and a bunch of trees. I could hear the law enforcement barking out orders and the flashlights were still beaming through the trees. There was a river in front of us and I couldn't see how we were going to go around it.

"Eye-tie, where in the hell is the van?" C-note asked, speaking as if Abruzzi couldn't speak english. John turned around and gave C-note a look.

"Ye of little faith." He turned back and stood up a bit, looking over on the other side of the river. "Come on, come on." He started running alongside the river and we followed behind him quickly. I was up in the front, not wanting to be dragging behind like last time. Branches whipped against my face, stinging it, but I continued nonetheless. We turned a corner of a building and I spotted the van Abruzzi was talking about.

"See, I told you." Abruzzi said, while the guys raced towards the van. Lincoln jogged over, about to hop in the driver's seat, but Abruzzi pulled him back. "I'm driving." Before Lincoln could make a scene, Michael pulled him away.
