Walking down the street of a busy city at night was probably the scariest thing to you. You were alone and afraid. Being a pretty girl out alone at night, never worked out. There was a crosswalk along the way to get to where you were going. Being the introvert you were you decided to jay walk thinking no harm would be done. You counted down seeing car after car zoom down the street. 1, 2, nope. Okay let's try again. 1,2,3! You try to sprint across the street like the flash, but obviously you weren't the flash. The next thing you felt was a terrible pain.
The Doctor was standing outside of his Tardis in an alley just watching the streets and reading a good book. He heard the horn of a loud car and rushed toward the sound. He was a body in front of the car and the car backed away slowly before driving off. He rushed toward the person, but the person was starting to get up and started to run.
You got up in pain. You needed to go back, you weren't even half away across the street. You saw an alleyway. Perfect, you run as fast as you could in your beaten state, you passed a man who was staring at you, a bit awkward. Once you reach the alleyway, the same man you passed followed you.
"Hey are you okay?" He says loud enough so you can hear him. You started to twitch feeling very weird. Your body started to glow a goldish color. You felt like passing out, it was the weirdest feeling you've had all day. The Doctor approached you seeing you glow, no, no no no no no. This wasn't possible, this isn't happening. Another timelord, or timelady in that case.
You turn around, looking down at your hands. They weren't your hands, but they were at the same time.
"Hello?" He says
"Please, don't hurt me" You whimper
"I'm not going to hurt you, I just want to know how you did that" The man approached you, a street light hit his face, he wasn't bad looking that's for sure.
"I..I don't know what happened" You mutter, your voice sounded very different that was for sure. It was more high pitched and had a Scottish tone to it.
"Follow me" He says and starts to walk to this big blue box down the alley. Confused you followed him and he unlocked the door to the blue box and you went inside.
"It's a lot to take in I know" He says as he closed the door he went over to a chest filled with random things. He pulls out a stethoscope. He walks over to you and lays it on your chest. He listened in 2 different areas.
"I though I was the only one.." He whispers
"The only what?" You whisper back
"I...I'm from a planet, called Gallifrey" He says
"That sounds strangely familiar" You say as you think
"Good, it should because that's where you are from. I'm a timelord, your a timelady. We have 2 hearts. When we get close to dying we regenerate and turn into a new person. That's what happened with you" He says still believing this isn't real. "I know it's hard to believe, it's hard for myself to believe as well"
"Why do you say that?" You ask
"Because I'm the one who destroyed our kind. To save it, from the war" The man bit his lip.
"What's your name?" You ask
"Just call me The Doctor" He says as he stared at his feet.
"Okay, Doctor, what's going to happen to me?" You ask frightened.
"You could...I don't know, stay with me?" He ask
"Really?" You ask
"Yeah, definitely, we are the same race after all" He gives a smile. You didn't know this Doctor that much but there's no other place you'd rather go, plus he's cute so it's a win win.
