MP11SORRY
Marissa Potter 11 - Marissa's POV
"I-" Scorpius started as I bumped into him in the corridor. I grabbed Bella's arm and swerved, turning round and heading the long way round the the Great Hall.
"You can't hide forever," Bella said.
"Hide from what?" I asked.
"You know exactly what I'm talking about."
I sighed. I did know what she was talking about. She wanted me to accept Scorpius' apology.
"And this is coming from the girl who said 'I'll kill that evil little Slytherin'!"
"Yep."
"I can't."
"Er - yes, you can."
"You don't understand!"
"Yeah. I do understand."
"NO! You don't!"
"Actually, I do," Bella said calmly. "When me and Remus were younger, we had a VERY big arguement. I wouldn't let him say sorry. We kept like that, like you and Scorpius are - not talking - for almost half a year. Then on my birthday he bought me an iWand. Then I forgave him."
"After half a year!"
"True. But I still forgave him, didn't I?"
"Spose."
"Seriously, Iss. You need to let him say sorry - you're getting more and more depressed!"
"I am NOT."
Bell rolled her eyes and we entered the Great Hall for tea. It was curry and rice.
"Hey," Remus said, sitting us down. "She let him apologise yet?"
"Nope," Bell sighed. "We went past him about seventy times."
"I can't forgive him just yet!" I protested. Remus and Bell both rolled their eyes and tucked in.
I stared at my curry and sighed. I glanced at Scorpius and he mouthed 'Sorry'. Looking away, I choked back tears. Bell was right.
Would I ever be able to forgive my own big brother?
