Marissa Potter 16 - Marissa's POV

"We'll break it down," Ollie warned as I peeked through the spyhole in the door.

"We're coming!" I insisted. "Bell's just applying her finishing touches of makeup!"

"Why doesn't that surprise me?" Remus laughed on the other side of the door.

"I'm opening the door," I informed the two and cautiously creaked it open. Ollie shoved it hard and it hit Oph's bed.

"Sorry," Ollie blushed.

"Oh, it's alright," Oph said happily, taking Re's hand.

Lance smiled and walked up to Bella. I'd never known her to blush like this! I wonder...

We walked down the stone steps, in much admiration (and in mine, Oph and Bella's case, envy). My dress swished around my knees and my heart soared as Ollie gripped my hand.

Entering the Great Hall, I saw that the house tables were pushed up at the back to make a dining area. There was hundreds of enchanted pumpkins; enchanted to float in the air. Once again, the ceiling was starry.

But the great thing was, seeing a huge orange dancefloor with hundreds of our friends (and in mine and Remus' case, family - Lily, Scorpius and Albus). It was beautiful.

Ollie swept me over to the dancefloor, where the regrouped 'New Wandz' were playing their No.1 hit 'Sparks Will Fly'. We danced and laughed with Remus, Bella, Oph, Lance, Howard, Rose, Albus, James, Lily, Hugo - all my friends. It was a great night.

"Hi!" I yelled to Lily above the music. She smiled and dragged me over to the food and sat me down.

"Hi," I repeated.

"Hey!" she replied. "I'm Lily."

"I'm Issa - Malfoy."

"I know."

"Okay, well - I definately know you."

She laughed. "Let me guess - Remus?"

"No, actually - Albus mostly."

"Aw, he does love his sister!"

"Love? He won't shut up about you!"

"He's probably proud. I mean, I am amazing."

"So am I, but I don't hear my brother say anyth..."

I trailed off. It was unbearable talking about Scorpius.

"...ing. Anyway, you enjoying yourself?"

"Yeah! It's great!"

"I love dances."

"They've never had a Halloween Ball before. Just the Yule Ball and stuff," Lily informed me.

"Well - I'm not complaining THIS time," Remus said, striding over.

"Oph's a good dancer," Lily commented.

"Yeah," Remus said. "She had lessons."

After a few Butterbeers and a Firewhisky, it was 10pm and I had a headache. Scorpius was also trying to find me and apologise.

It was time to go beddybyes.
