Marissa Potter 14 - Marissa's POV
Getting dates for the ball was pretty hard. I had been asked by several people, including some VERY ugly boys, but I decided to wait for Mr. Right-Perfect to come along.
And he did. Just that day, a new boy came into Transfiguration. McGonagall introduced him to the class.
"Hello," the boy smiled at me directly. "I'm Ollie Lancelot."
Lots of people put up their hands to ask him questions.
Kate. "What's your favourite colour?"
"Blue," Ollie replied.
George. "What's your middle name?"
"Franky."
Keran. "How old are you?"
"Twelve."
Bella. "What's your favourite food?"
"Err - Hogwarts Feast."
Jane. "Do you have a date to the ball yet?"
"No."
Charlie. "Will you go with me?"
"No, sorry."
Sarah. "What about me?"
"Sorry."
Kaylee. "What about me?"
"No."
Rhiannon. "Me?"
"Maybe."
Me. "Are you related to the knight Lancelot?"
"Actually, I don't know! I'll look it up!"
Me again. "Also will you go to the dance with me?"
"Er -" he cocked his head to one side. "Yes."
This answer caused:
• a ripple of murmuring.
• girls to cry out in anger.
• gasps.
• a hi5 from Bella.
• a wink from Ollie.
• me to smile smugly.
• me to blush.
It caused all that! Ollie Franky Lancelot was placed next to me (I wonder why) and he shook my hand.
"Hi," he said.
"Hi, Franky," I smiled.
"It's OLLIE."
"I know," I giggled. "But Franky sounds funnier!"

Anyways, I'm feeling ill so I can't be random 2day. I had my cervical cancer jab today and missed Club Swimming Championships - which is probably a GOOD thing because it was 8 lengths breastroke and I can't even MOVE my arm.
STUPID NEEDLES.
To be honest, it doesn't hurt when it goes in. Just after school. Teehee. U get to miss bad things!
