Chapter 6

Stein's POV

"Shit she asked THAT question." i thought and looked at her. "It doesn't matter let's get home." I said and pulled her along. "Stein...I have the right to know.." she said and I let go and looked at the floor. "Why should I tell you anyway...it won't matter." I said and she looked at me as if she were a puppy that got scolded.

"I'm sorry." she said and walked off. 'No...wait." I said and she looked at me. "You won't tell me anyway.....I'll see you around Stein." she said and ran off into the fog that was forming. I watched as she disappeared. I trudged home and slammed the door. I walked around my cold dark house and sighed. For once I didn't want to dissect and sure as hell didn't want to grade papers. I walked into my kitchen and grabbed a beer. "If I can't tell her I can drink her away." I said and sat on the couch and stared at the ceiling and drank.

Your POV

I ran over to Maka's I knew she was the only one I can lean on. I ran over and climbed to her window. I didn't want Soul to see me. "(y/n)?" she asked and I nodded. "What is it?" she asked and I looked down. "Just can I come in?" I asked and she nodded. She pulled me in and I sat on her bed. "What happened?" she asked and I sighed.

"So Lord Death told Stein and I that we had to stay next to each other and then Stein told me that if i got hurt to see him for the injury and I asked why and he said it was because I was his weapon and I think there is something more to the fact but he won't tell me." I said and someone knocked on the door. "Come in." she said and Soul opened it.

"Sounds to me like you have a meister problem." he said. "I know that." I said and looked at the floor putting my knees to my chest and sliding off the bed. "Why don't you go find him?" Maka asked and I shook my head. "Are you scared of him liking you?" soul asked and I shrugged. "Last I knew he wasn't able to." Maka said and I looked at her. "Yea come on we'll take you over there." she said and got me to stand.

I walked out to the living room and sat on the couch while they got changed. "What if he does like me?" I thought and sighed. "Do i even like him?" I thought. "I do care for him he is my meister and did help me when I needed it." I thought and they came out. "Alright let's go." Maka said and I nodded. We walked in the dark as the fog started to accumulate. I sighed and tried to turn around when I saw the laboratory but Soul is quick. He grabbed my shirt and held me close.

"Soul I don't want to be here let me go." I said and fought him. He picked me up and I stopped. "Bastard." i whispered and saw him smirk. Maka and Soul walked up to the door. Maka started to beat on the door and I wished for him to not be home. He came to the door and swung it open. "Dude he's been drinking." soul mumbled and Maka sighed. "Dr.Stein we found your weapon." she said and he looked at me. "Thank you..." he said and grabbed my hand.

On instinct I turned into my weapon form. Soul and Maka waved and walked off. I gulped and he closed to door. He let me go and I stayed in my weapon form. "You know you can change back now." he slurred and I changed. I sat on the floor not wanting to move or anything. "What are you doing?" he asked and stumbled over. He bent down and I could smell the alcohol on his breath.

"Stein you've been drinking..." I said and he smiled. "No shit sherlock." he said and stood. I stood and walked over to the couch. I saw the beer upon beer bottles. I grabbed the one he had and he reached for it. I threw it and it broke against the wall. "What are you doing?" he asked and I looked at him. "Cutting you off..." I said and tried to walk past him. He grabbed me and pinned me against the couch.

"Why are you doing that dear?" he asked. "You are a teacher of the DWMA and my meister now I WILL NOT LET YOU DRINK AWAY YOUR SORROWS." I said and he looked at me. "Hmmm." he said and let go. "I'm going to bed and so are you." I said and grabbed his wrist. "I am not." he said and pulled away. "Stein..." I said and he looked at me.

"Do whatever I don't care." I said and walked to my room. I laid there until I heard him walk into his room. I sighed and looked at my clock. It was now well into the night. When I was sure he was sleeping I got up and walked to his room. I opened the door and found him passed out on his bed. I walked over took off his lab coat, shoes, pants and glasses. I sighed and walked back to my room. "Grown man I and I have to take care of him..who knew." I said and got into bed finally falling asleep. 

So I decided to wait a bit before Stein told you....so any way he will sooner or later or either you will or he will i haven't fully decided and well it's almost 1 in da fricken morning and I am tired....I have shopping to do tomorrow as well so....see ya later....trendycupcakeslover out...
