Chapter 19

Stein's POV

I took in a breath as I sat in my chair and had (y/n)'s undevided attention. "You have yo go with Spirit and I along with a few other students on a mission." I said as I prepared myself for the inevitable.

She smirked and her smirk hrww to a smile and her smile grew to where I thought he fell into madness or it was going to swallow her face. "You mean to tell me I get to go on a mission with you?" She asked. I nodded and she jumped from her chair and I nearly fell out of mine. "Yes! Mission, mission! Mission time! Wooohoo!" She said as she jumped around the living room. I stood and grabbed her before she hurt herself.

"Yes mission time now go and get dressed. We have a long trip and we leave soon. " I said. She ran off and I smiled a bit. It soon faded as I thought of all the ways she could get hurt. She could be cut in half. Smashed by a tree. Anything really. I sighed and suppressed those thoughts.

She came back out wearing her leather jacket skinny jeans combat boots a beanie and a dark shirt. I smiled at her when she threw my lab coat at me. "We have a long walk to get to Spirit's...so let's go." She said. I followed as she walked out and left the food on the table.

We walked along the cold ground that had a few rain puddles that we stepped in. I looked at (y/n) and got more worried each time. She was all gappy go lucky as she's been for awhile now. But she doesn't know what she has to face when we leave Death City.

I sigh and take a cigarette out and put it my lips lazily. "Stop stressing." I look over "hmm?" I asked as I lit it. "Stop stressing." She said again. "I'm not stressing." I said she grabbed my hand and stopped. "You smoke when you're stressed, angry, aggravated, annoyed, or even frustrated with me." She took in a breath. " I know you well enough to know that you're stressed about me and this mission. I can see it in your eyes, Stein." She said. For as much as I hate to admit it she was right.

I nodded and looked at her. "You're right. But its my job to worry. Teacher, adoptive father, and boyfriend it is my job to worry." I stopped when I realized how weird that sounded.

"But I thought you weren't my father. Just to get me out of that hellhole " she said smirking. "Stop that." I said and we began walking. We got to Spirits house where Maka and Soul. Black*Star and Tsubaki. And now Kid , Liz and Patty stood.

I came in and (y/n) followed. I walked over to Spirit. "Ready to gk?" He asked I nodded and I went to the students. "Alright listen up. This will be a quick missions. It will test your abilities and you will have to watch not only your own backs bit your fellow students as well. Now you will follow what I say and things will go over smoothly." I said and everyone grabbed their weapons and we left to Archnephobia. 

We ran off and I stayed in the back to watch the rest of the students. Most were running along buildings. Kid was on his skateboard. (Y/n) was running along and flipping over alley ways and gaps. I chuckled as I watched her back flip over one and wave at me. "At least someone is enjoying this. " I said Spirit nodded.

We got to Archnephobias and we stopped to rest. I let Spirit go so he could watch the students but mostly Black*Star. I took (y/n) yo the side where I looked at her. "I ant you to be really careful while were here. There are things that could hurt you greatly. I don't think I could bare to see you hurt. So will you get me if shit hits the fan?" I askedm

She chuckled and nodded. "I'll be fine you know that. After all I do live with the best Meister. And the one with the best ass." She said and slapped me. Hard. I looked at her and smirked. "You'll pay for that later." I said. She smirked and ran to join up with the others. I looked at Arachne's castle. This is going to be one hell of an interesting mission.

Your POV

I smirked as we walked along the woods and setting off any and all traps we found. I chuckled as Black*Star got hit with one. I walked over and broke it and helped him up.

I chuckled again and ran off. We got to the base of the castle where there were a ton of people with masks. I rose a brow and the rest caught up with me. They looked and I turned my arms to my blades and looked at them. We ran at them and I took a few out easily.

Maka made one swing and took out three. Stein spun spirit around and a bunch flew back. BLack*Star turns Tsubaki into a throwing star and she went around slicing people I went to turn my attention back to the people. "(y/n)!" I heard and I instantly knew it was Stein.

I pit myself into a ball and shot back what ever it was. He ran over and grabbed me. I looked around and stopped as I saw what I did. All if them were gone and I liked at stein. "What did I do?" I asked. He shrugged and looked at me. We ran in and found Arachne. She was n her web thrown looking at us and smirking. "You think you've one haven't you?"  She asked and I groaned. "You sound like Medusa." I said. She chuckled and got down. She walked over to me and I looked at her.

"Funny you should say that. After all she did meet you as a baby." She said. I groaned and held my head as she forced the memories back. I fell still holding my head as the pain got more and more unbearable. I heard stein growl then a woosh and then the clanging of metal on the floor. I was picked and moved as I held my head and my vision became black. But the last thing I heard were the screams of my fellow students, Spirit and Stein.

"STEIN WAIT!"

" (y/n)!"

"PROFESSOR!"

"DAMMIT!"

"(y/n)...hang in there...you'll be fine...please...Don't leave me..."

Hey I'm not dead....awesome right. Lol sorry for not updating in a while but here we go. Stein isn't happy and ditched everyone else...anyway trendycupcakeslover out...(1150 words)
