Chapter 9

Stein's POV

I walked to the bathrooms of the DWMA. I sighed and stripped and finally after about a week in a half took a shower. I sighed as all the stress went down the drain. I stood there taking in the heat of the water and let it envelop me. My brain went back to (y/n). "What is she going to do knowing what I said?" I whispered under the water.

"Will she ask about it?" "Will she shun me forever and have her leave me alone and not want to be her meister anymore?" "No...she said it herself...i'm the only one that has ever showed her any help or anything." I sighed and put my head in the water now washing it for the third time. I got the suds out of my hair and heard the door open. "Stein are you in here?" it was Spirit. "Yeah." I said and sighed as my peace and quiet was now gone.

"When are you going to be done?" he asked and I sighed. "I almost am." I said and he went to walk out. "Can you do me a favor?" I asked and I heard his shoes spin on the tile. "Yeah sure." he said and I sighed. "Think you could go the laboratory and get some clothes?" I asked and he gulped. "Do it or i'll dissect you again." I said and heard him run out. I stepped out of the shower in a towel and chuckled. "Works every time." I said and started to dry my hair.

Your POV

I woke up for now the second time even more confuzzled than before. I looked around the room and didn't see Stein. "Hey (y/n)." I heard a gentle voice say. It was Tsubaki, "hey."I said and smiled. "How are you doing?" she asekd and smiled.

"I'm awake so that's a start but my head does hurt a bit." I said and she nodded. "I'm sorry." she said and I shook my head. "You didn't cause it." I said and she nodded. "Where is Stein?" I asked and she looked at the door. "Oh he went to clean up." she said and I nodded. "Thank god." I said and she giggled.

"Where is BlackStar...isn't he normally around you?" I asked and she sighed. "He and Soul are out at the steps trying to take on another new student." he said and I nodded. "Boys." I said and she smiled "tell me about it." she said and we sighed. I smiled and looked at her. "Tsubaki..." I said and she looked at me. "Yes?" she asked and I looked down. "Nevermind it's stupid." I said and she put a hand on mine.

"What is it..you can tell me." she said and I looked at her and nodded. "What do you think Stein thinks of me?" I asked and she thought for a moment. "Remember how when you woke up and he was here sleeping?" she asked and I nodded. "Well when yu were brought in after taking that arrow for him he never moved or anything from his chair...he quit eating all together." she said and I nodded.

I felt tears form in my eyes and she saw as well. "Hey don't cry." she said and I covered my mouth. "He does love you you know." she said and stood. "Well i'll see you later....Soul and BlackStar should be stopped...I need to find Maka." she said and walked off. I nodded and sighed looking outside.

I sat there watching the birds fly around the cones of the DWMA. I heard the door open and I smiled. I knew who it was the second they opened the door. "Hey Stein." I said and he smiled. "How are you feeling?" he asked and I sighed. "Like I hibranated..." I said and grabbed chair. He went to sit backwards in it but I looked at him. He looked at me and sighed. He spun the chair around and scooted closer to the bed. He grabbed my knees and put his head on my lap.

I ran my hand through his hair and smiled. "Good boy you showerd." I said and he chuckled. "I knew you would be fine." he said and I touched his screw. He tensed a bit but grabbed my hand. He held it in his. For once it wasn't the normal cold touch he had...I smiled and put my head on his. I breathed in heavily taking in his sent.

"Hmm you still smell like formaldehyde." I said and he chuckled. "I am a doctor after all." he said and I nodded. I sat up and looked at him. He sat up as well and I opened my arms. He sat on the bed and pulled me to him. I put my head in his chest and listened to his breathing and heart beat. I smiled and squeezed. I let go and looked at him. "What is it?" he asked and I looked down. "Stein about earlier." 

yay we calmed down about the fighting and the near death....and the booze...I completely forgot about all the madness parts...but that can come later...when there is a Stein...madness is sure to follow....trendycupcakeslover out
