Chapter 15

Your POV 

I stood and looked at Stein. "Let's go home," I said. He nodded and I helped him up. We walked out of the dungeon and to the front of the school. Everyone saw us and backed off. "You didn't beat anyone?" he asked. I shook my head. "They may have been told to stop me but none did," I said. I looked over to Marie. She was still stuck to the ground. I walked over and snapped my fingers. She moved and sighed. 

"Thank you," she said and stood. "Marie.." I heard. We looked and Stein walked over. "Were you trying to stop her?" he asked. Marie looked down and nodded. "Stein...I've liked you for some time now..." she said. I went to punch her but Stein grabbed me. "Relax..." he said. I stood behind him and he looked at her. "Marie...although you do like me still...I do not..I have met the love of my life and you need to back off." he said. I covered my mouth and whispered. "Ohhhh," I said. Stein walked over and grabbed my hand. He pulled me to him and I smiled. "I heard that," he whispered. 

I shrugged and we ran off to the lab. We got inside and I tackled him to the floor. "Why the hell did you leave me like that?" I asked. He chuckled and sat up taking me in his arms. "It was to protect you, dear," he said. I nodded and looked at him. "Yea but you made me slap Spirit," I said. He chuckled and looked at me. "Why did you do that?" he asked. "He let you leave," I said. He sighed and stood with me in his arms. "It's been a long day...Let's go to bed," he said. he carried me off to the room. He took off our lab coats and gave me one of his shirts. 

I smirked and crawled into the bed. He removed his pants and shoes and crawled into the bed in only his signature stitched boxers. I smiled and nuzzled into his chest. "I love you (y/n)," he said. I smiled and held him closely. "I love you as well Stein," I said. He removed his glasses and we fell asleep in a tight embrace. 

-The Next Morning- 

I woke up to the smell of food throughout the house. I sat up and looked around. I sighed and stood walking out of the room. I looked around and traveled slowly down the hall. I turned the corner to see Stein making breakfast. I smiled and came up behind him. "You know it's harder to scare me...I can feel your soul." he said. I shrugged and kissed his bare back. "I could scare you.." I said and sat at the island counter. He turned to me and rose a brow. "How do you plan to do that?" he asked. 

I looked around and smirked swaying slightly. "Oh, I don't know...I could leave for a few days.." I said. He sent me a glare and leaned over the counter. "Over my dead body," he said. I smiled and kissed him. "I'm not going anywhere so you're good..." I said. He sighed and continued making breakfast. I walked out of the kitchen and sighed. "I'm going to take a shower," I called and turned the corner to the bathroom. I looked at the mirror and sighed. It was still broken. 

I got into the shower and heard the door open. I looked and saw Stein. He smirked at me and crawled in. "Care if I join?" He asked. I looked at him and smiled. "What about the food?" I asked. He shrugged and pinned me against the wall. "It can wait...You're my main priority and I haven't properly thanked you for getting me out of that dungeon," he said and kissed me.
