Chapter 12

Your POV

My eyes fluttered open and I smiled. I looked to my left (random direction XD) and saw Stein. He was sleeping soundly with a bit of my hair in his face. I chuckled slightly and moved it. His green eyes opened and met my (e/c) ones. He smiled and pulled me closer. "Good morning dear." He said into my neck. I smiled and sighed. "Good morning." I said with a slight yawn.

I rolled over more looking at him. "We should probably get up." I said. He pouted and looked down. "I don't wanna." He said. I rolled my eyes and kissed his nose. "But you gotta." I said. He groaned and let me go so he could wipe his eyes. He sat up and I rolled off the bed to the floor. He chuckled and looked over the edge of the bed at me. "How was your fall?" He asked. I flipped him off. "You already did that...last night actually." He said, I blushed at the thought of last night. I sat up and grabbed his lab coat from the floor.

I put it on and stood. He stood and walked over. "That's mine you know." He said, I nodded and let his sent of for formaldehyde envelop me. "Mine now." I said and ran out of the room. I heard him sigh and I sat on the counter in the kitchen, he came out a bit later with a shirt on and shorts. I smiled and he walked over and put one of his shirts on me. "There." He said, I smiled and out my arms around his neck. He pulled me close and I smiled into his chest.

"I love you." He said, I looked at him and kissed him, "I love you too." I said, he pulled me down and walked over to the couch, he sat me in his lap while we watched a horror movie. Every so often I would lean into his chest and cower. He would chuckle and rub my back. "Nothing will get you while I'm around." He said, I smiled and nodded giving him a kiss on the cheek.

-Later That Day-

We had sat on the couch for most of the day and I loved it. He had gotten up a little bit ago. He hasn't came back yet and I was getting cold. I sighed standing off the couch and walking down the hall. I found the door to the bathroom closed and I heard a crashing noise and grunts. I ran over and knocked, "stein are you alright?" I asked. I heard shuffling and what sounded like glass.

"Yes dear I'm fine." He said opening the door. "Then why did I hear glass breaking and....WHY IS YOUR HAND BLEEDING?!" I asked grabbing it. I pulled to my chest and looked at it then to the mirror. "Stein tell me what happened." I said, he sighed and fell to his knees. "I think the madness is consuming me." He said, I looked at him and put my arms around his neck. "Not while I'm around it won't." I said. "That's the thing....it's because of you." He said. I looked at him and saw the three Kishin eyes. He jumped at me.

I screamed and jumped. Stein. Was apparently asleep like I was. He held me close while I cried. "What happened?" He asked. I looked at him and bawled into his chest. "You-you punched the mirror and then said the madness was getting to you then you said that it was because of me." I said clutching onto his shirt. He patted my back. "You do drive me mad but in a good way." He said, I looked at him and sniffed. "Just the way you look at me and knowing you're here is enough to." He said. I smiled and wiped my eyes. "Now come here." He said. I nodded and leaned into his embrace and smiled. I fell back to sleep soon after.
