Chapter 17

Your POV

I woke up still a bit sore fro yesterday and sighed. I threw the covere off of me and slowly stood. I can still stand that's a start. I started to walk to the door to find Stein. He wasn't in the bed. I sighed as I walked through the door frame of the room and into the living room. I found him at his computer slumped over and sleeping. I chuckled as I walked over. I put my hands on his shoulders and looked at him.

He moved a bit and mumbled something. I smiled and poked him. I watched his green eyes open and look at me. He sat up and smiled. "Morning sleepyhead." I said. He didn't say anything as he wiped the sleep from his eyes. I frowned a little. He looked at me through his hands and smirked. I looked at him rising a brow. "You do realize you walked through the house naked right?" he asked. I looked down and sighed. "Maybe." I mumbled. He stood and took off his lab coat.

I wrapped it around me and sighed. "Why didn't you go to bed?" I asked. He looked at me and sighed. "Well I guess I was busy and fell asleep with work." he said. I nodded and sighed. "Well you can make breakfast then."I said. He groaned and sighed. "Why do I get the feeling I'm in trouble?" he said. I looked at him and smirked. "Well after I got you home I thought you would sleep in the bed with me like you're supposed to but nope you work instead." I said.

He blinked for a minute and sighed. "Well come here then." he said and pulled me to him. I tried to get away but his grip was to great. He chuckled when he put me on his lap and I pouted. "Why you do this?" I asked. "Oh because I know you like it." he said and kissed my cheek. I smiled and leaned on his chest. He pulled me close and I smiled. "Well I'm glad you're home." I said. "Then why are you mad?" he asked. I slapped his chest. "I told you-you didn't go to bed last night...I'm starting to think you like that computer more than me and you're having an affair with it." I said. He chuckled and kissed me.

"Well I wouldn't have to deal with the nagging...But I'm not." he said. I rolled my eyes. "I don't nag at you." I said. He sighed and laid his head on mine. "Well...sometimes." he said. I stood up and walked to the bedroom. "I'm surprised you can still walk." he said. I turned to him and smirked. "Maybe you didn't do a good enough job last night." I said. He stood and I ran down the hall. I heard him follow.

I dove onto the bed and rolled off before he landed. I got up and crawled onto him when he rolled over to look for me. "That is only because of the angle." he said. I smirked and kissed him. "Maybe...maybe not." I said. He rolled his eyes and I smiled. "Well you still gotta make breakfast...now go..I'm hungry." I said. I got off him and he stood with a huff and walked out turning his screw.
