Chapter 14

Your POV 

I turned around and glared at Spirit. He had a sad face while I had tears of rage streaming down mine. I walked over to him and slapped him. He looked at the floor and refused to make eye contact with me. "Why would you let him do that?!" I asked. He sighed and still refused to look at me. "DAMMIT LOOK  AT ME!" I said. He sighed and looked at me. "I did it because he knows its best...for you." he said. I looked at him and turned around grabbing a smaller lab coat that he made for me

 I put it on and sighed walking out of the lab. I was caught by Spirit. "where are you going?" he asked. "I'm going to get Stein back." I said. he sighed and I looked at him. "And there is nothing you can do to stop me."  I said. He let me go and I ran off to the DWMA. I made it to the steps and was stopped by a group of students. They had their weapons and i looked at them "what are you doing get out of my way." i said. Soul and Maka came out along with Kid and his weapons, Crona and Blackstar and theirs. 

I looked at them and drew my scythe out of my arm. "Let me through." I said. Maka spoke up first. "We have been ordered by the professor to not let you through under any circumstances." she whispered. I turned to her. "And yet you follow orders...like you always have...Why can't you see that I care dearly for him..NOW LET ME THROUGH." I said. She flinched and rose Soul. "Maka what are you doing we can't hurt her." he said. She sighed and I looked at her. "I know soul." she said and dropped him. 

She fell to her knees. "Please don't go in...He said he would dissect us if we let you through...and Lord Death he said he would expel all of us." she said now sobbing. "You care more about your well being than you do of others...what kind of academy students are you?" I asked turning to be stopped by Marie. "I am no longer an academy professor...you can fight me if you'd like." she said. I smirked. "A fight against a death scythe....interesting." I said. She looked at me wide eyed. I heard Maka scream. "Her...her soul." she said. I looked at her. "what about it?" i asked Soul helped her stand. "It has the same amount of madness as the professor's." she said. 

I looked at the ground trying desperately to not burst into tears. "Yes I know...but don't you see..with out him it gets worse...I was able to control it and accept it as a part of me until i met him...He became the barrier that I was looking for my entire life...He doesn't know..and since he's in there i have to get him before it swallows me...now move." I said. Marie looked down. "I cannot let you pass." she said. I sighed and readied myself. "You brought this on yourself." I said. 

She ran at me and I held up a hand. I relaxed and the last minute before she hit me i dodged. I ran behind her and used soul force. I heard murmurs around the students. "She can use Soul Force..." was what many said. I looked at them sighing. "I've picked up a few things..." I said. Marie stood. I sighed and smirked. "Since I came in contact with you now i can do this." I said and used Soul Suture. I walked away and everyone else moved from my way. I walked in and looked around. Now its time to find Stein. 

-Time Skip To Death Room- 

"where is he?" I asked. Lord Death turned around. Azusa and Sid were there as well. "I cannot allow you to see him." He said now with his actual voice. "Ooh you think that voice is intimidating...have you seen Stein in full madness?" I asked slightly chuckeling. "(y/n) go home...the madness is getting to you." Sid said. I rolled my eyes. "FOOL!" I heard. we looked and saw Excalibur. I sighed and he walked over. "She cannot leave not without Stein at least." he said. "Why no-." Sid was cut off. "Fool...the reason of this is because she needs him as a barrier...he keeps the madness tucked away and i'm sure she does the same for him." he said. I nodded and smiled. "He may be annoying but he understand my situation more than you....shinigami." I said. 

Excalibur moved and I walked to Lord Death. "Now...I demand to see Stein and take him home." I said. he sighed and nodded. "What you're going to just hand him over?" Sid asked. he nodded and I looked at him. "I can tell she cares dearly for him and he is needed for her as she is to him." he said. I smiled and ran out of the room and to the dungeon. I ran past a lot of the other captives until I heard a bunch of insane laughter. I walked to the door and put my hand on it. The laughter stopped. "(y/n)?" I heard. 

I smiled a sigh of relief leaving my lungs. "Yes..It's me." I said. He slammed against the door. "Dammit i told you to stay away from me." he said. I slammed my hand back sliding to the floor. "Stein I need you...before i met you I had to control the madness then I met you...it broke it and you acted as my barrier...so please come home...I need you.." I said. I heard him slide down the door as well. "I need you as well." he said. I smiled and stood. "Stand back." I said. I turned my arm into a scythe. I stood back and swung my arm cutting clean through the door. 

I saw him and smiled. I ran to him and jumped on him he fell to the floor and i smiled. I kissed him and he held me close. "I don't care if you go into madness just know i'm close behind...because we are Unstable."  I said.
