"Does it have anything to do with life energy?"
You remained silent, the pain intensifying by the second.
"If I don't give you life energy, you'll-"
"No! I'm not going to take it from anyone other than Lord Levi!"
You screamed as you collapsed to the ground in agony. Eren knelt alongside you, obviously terrified.
"He's in town for a conference meeting, [Name]! He won't return till late at night!"
Your legs felt as if they had been stabbed with a knife. You couldn't speak, your throat was scratching, and breathing was becoming increasingly difficult.
"With your voice like that, you might as well die!" When Eren lifted your head, he noticed tears in your eyes. You sobbed while holding your face and nodded at the same time.
'I don't want to betray Levi any longer. I despise it!'
Eren drew you in close. "You're willing to go to such lengths for Levi? Give me your life energy, [name]. I'm not going to threaten you or say anything. And I'll tell Levi that everything that happened that day was due to me. I'm not going to let you die now. If you've died, how will you be able to meet Levi?"
Hearing those words caused your eyes to widen. Tears welled up in your eyes as you surrendered yourself to him on that fateful day.

"It's good to see you again, Levi." At the door, Isabel greeted Levi.
"Yeah, I'm back."
"I thought you weren't coming back till the evening."
"The meeting has been rescheduled. As a result, we'll return another day. Is [Name] in her room, yes?"
"She is, indeed. Is there a problem?"
"No, it's all right.."
Levi was lost in contemplation as he headed up the stairwell. He was merely curious as to why that happened and how Eren and [Name] came to be so close.
"Welcome back, Lord Levi!" Levi looks around the hallway to see all of Petra's belongings.
"Petra? What's the deal with all this stuff?"
"Well, the truth is that Eren removed all of my belongings from his room."
"Your things?"
"Eren threw me and my belongings out." She pretended to cry.
"Why would Eren suddenly do anything like that?"
"Perhaps it's because he's dating someone else now."
"Who?"
"[Name], or whatever her name is." She smirks evilly behind her fan.
"What?"
"Because she was your lover, I planned to remain quiet about it. I saw her the other day by the carriages, waiting for you in an unladylike manner. It's as though she wanted you to sympathize with her." Petra says this while making up lies.
"Do you mean you're telling me she did it to herself?" Levi screamed angrily at the top of his lungs.
"Other than that, I'm at a loss for words! That girl truly terrifies me! Taking my precious Eren away, I'm certain she'll cause you damage as well! It makes my heart hurt just thinking about it." She cries as she falls to the ground dramatically.
"I'll go ahead and ask her that."
"Oh, and your father says he needs to speak with you right away!"
"His majesty does? Okay, then." Levi goes away, his heart pounding, but he doesn't notice Petra smirking.
"As expected, Lady Petra.....Lord Eren is..." Her maid speaks to her in hushed tones.
"It appears that my lovely Levi will return to me." She smirks and chuckles as the horror unfolds in front of her.

Levi saw a crumpled-up note written by you on the ground as he walked to find you. He read it right away after opening it. As he read this, his eyes widened. You were expressing your regret for that night, and everything you were feeling was expressed.
He dashed towards your bedroom. ' Petra had to have misread something. I'm familiar with [Name], and she's nothing like that. I'm sure she wouldn't do such a thing.'
As he reached your room, he came to a halt, his eyes widening as he heard something through the door.
"Ah....omg...wait! That's too.....ahh...."
He couldn't believe what he was seeing. He was taken aback when he opened the door to see Eren on top of you, and you were having a good time.
"Oh, Lord Eren!"
Levi shut the door and tossed your letter on the floor crushed. Your actions disgusted and disappointed him. He walked away, more enraged than ever.

You came out of your room the next morning to find your letter on the floor.
'This is my letter! I guess he never understood. In any case, I need to get my act together. I can no longer betray him.' You went back inside to look for Levi when Isabelle stormed through the front doors.
"There's some bad news, Lady [Name]! Lady Petra's engagement to Lord Levi has just been announced!"
