Once upon a time, down beneath the sea, there lived a mermaid. The mermaid was in love with a human prince. She exchanged her voice for her legs with a demon before meeting the man of her dreams. As time passed, the mermaid and prince fell in love.
Everything was going well for them, and their love story was magnificent. For them, it was a brand-new sensation. Sweet voices calling each other's names. One by one, fingers intertwined in each other's hair, memories filled with warmth. Everything, everything was gone!
"LEVI! LEVI!" You screamed his name in your mermaid form, blood oozing from his body.
"Please bring the doctor on board! There's still time! Quickly, Captain!" Eren yelled at everyone.
"We'll have to restrain Petra then." He continues, turning to look at Petra with a filthy glare.
"What? Release me! I'm not to blame for this! Levi was the one that unexpectedly showed up here! I wanted to kill that monster!" She yelled while being held by two men.
"I'm not going to stand by and watch you cause more havoc." He muttered this while looking over at your devastating shape. Your eyes began tearing up as you turned to face the sword next to Levi. "[Name]?"
"If you die together, I'll let your souls float together for all of eternity."
"Together....for all eternity..." You take hold of the sword and point it at your throat. "Levi...I'm coming." You raised the blade, ready to stab yourself.
"[Name]! Stop!" Eren yells as he rushes to your side.
"[Name]." You always spoke to me kindly.
"No matter what anyone says, I will always protect you, brat."
It was near the beach.
I fell madly in love with you. I want what we have to last a lifetime.
"Right now, I simply want to live for you."
Everything you taught me about life, and everything I was able to teach you.

"My beautiful flower, I love you."
When the blade got extremely close to your neck, you quickly closed your eyes as tears began to fall. It was time for you to depart from this world.
I love you. That's why....that's why -
"NO! STOP!" You dropped the weapon swiftly and yelled.
"ERWIN! ERWIN! DO SOMETHING, PLEASE! I DON'T CARE WHAT HAPPENS TO ME! So, for Levi's sake, BRING HIM BACK SO HE CAN HAVE A CHANCE AT HAPPINESS!"
The first person I fell in love with. The first person to love me. Levi offered me his life. I have to give him mine as well!
"Wow, I had no idea you could understand this person's love as a mermaid, but you do now. You have really come a long way. Okay, so why not? I'll grant your wish." When he lifted his finger, a sparkle illuminated his entire hand. Levi's eyes opened as his body began to glow.
"Levi!"
"[Name]?"
"I'm so glad, I'm so glad," You covered your mouth as tears streamed down your cheeks.
"Someone stabbed me," He said, gently sitting up.
"I am so sorry. I'm to blame for everything! I'm nothing more than a monster who took on human form to love you."
"[Name]...."
"This all happened because I required your life energy." Then, in bridal fashion, Levi abruptly scooped you into his arms.
"Shh. Stop saying those things now. I told you we'd never be apart, didn't I?"
"Levi..."
"I was extremely concerned, so thank God!" Eren remarks as he dries the sweat from his forehead.
"Look! Levi is still alive! It's not my fault!" Petra yelled.
"How lovely. I do enjoy happy endings." Erwin says, revealing his black wings.
"Erwin, thank you so much." You say, smiling at him.
"No, I'm the one who needs to thank you for keeping me entertained. Please enjoy your happily ever after. At the very least, that's what I intend to convey. However, don't you seem to be forgetting something?" You two stared at him in confusion as he smirked.
"As much as I'd like things to end this way, you vowed you'd pay any price to get him back."
Your eyes widened in horror as you turned to face Erwin in fear. "What?"
And at that instant, your mermaid shape transformed into a glistening liquid in Levi's arms. His eyes widened as he peered at the liquid. A little blue pearl lay on the ground beside the liquid.
"I never said it would be free, did I? I'll take one life in exchange for another. A fair price, wouldn't you say?"
"[Name].....!" He felt the liquid in the ground before focusing his attention on the pearl.
"A blue pearl..."
"It's beautiful. The color of the sea."
"I want a color you like."
"[Name]!!!" He shouted while clinging to the pearl. Tears began to pour from his eyes, and he covered his face as muffled sobs escaped from his throat. Eren looks down at his brother, having never seen Levi so broken, or even cry for that matter.
"This is,"
"Hmm...I had planned on simply turning her into a pearl, but I've now changed my mind. I'll give you and [Name] one more chance to prove your love."
Erwin snapped his fingers, and a tornado erupted, engulfing Levi in its path.
"What are you doing?"
"Make sure you keep a good hold of that pearl."
