Chapter 15. Hatred

Lucy P.O.V

I came out of the bathroom in the clothes I picked out. I was wearing a green tank top, a short pink skirt and my usual boots. 

I grabbed the hair brush that was lying on the tablestand beside my bed and started to brush my blonde hair. 

After I finished brushing my hair, I went up to the window.

I looked through the window and saw that it was raining outside. ''Damn it,'' I thought to myself.

Thats when I heard a knock on the door. ''I wonder who that could be, can't be Lisanna since we aren't supposed to meet up yet,'' I thought, making my way towards the door.

I opened it and saw Vera, soaking wet, standing in front of me.

''Uh.. what are you doing here?'' I asked her, crossing my arms.

Her face was expressionless, her face showed no emotion. She just stood there, staring at me. I found it kind of uncomfortable, so I wanted to close the door, but she put her arm on the door, not letting me close it.

''We need to talk,'' She said, her voice bitter and dark.

''Is it that important? I'm busy.''

''Yes, it is.''

I sighed. I guess a little talk with her before the job won't hurt anyone right?

Oh how wrong I was.

 After I grabbed my jacket and followed Vera to this creepy place right beside a forest, we sat on a bench. I was sort of uncomfortable being with her alone, not to mention in a creepy, dark place beside a forest! Why couldn't we talk in a normal place?

Vera stood up and stared at me, her expression angry. Was she mad at me? 

''You know, you've really pissed me off lately.'' She told me, her voice low.

Oh, its about Natsu? 

I rolled my eyes at her.

''Look, if its about Nat-''

''You dimwit!'' She roared, interrupting me.

My eyes widened, what the hell is her problem?

''You think its just because of that damn Natsu? Yes of course I have a crush on him, its pretty noticable. You keep on taking me away from him, though! Its your fault! But its not the only reason I hate you, i hate how everyone talks good about you, how everyone adores you! And me? Im the 'mysterious new girl' who's powers are unknown! Thats all I am!'' She roared at me.

I was shocked. She was jealous of me? Thats a reason to hate me..!? Other people have damn better reasons to hate!

I furrowed my eyebrows at her and crossed my arms.

''So you're simply jealous of me,'' I said.

You could see she was really mad right now. She shot me a death glare before she took a few steps towards me.

''Get up,'' She ordered.

''You can't tell me what to do!''

She gritted her teeth.

''Get. Up!'' She yelled, pointing to the ground.

I just stared at her, in disbelief. She was ordering me around? What the hell..
