Lucy P.O.V

''Would you like some more tea, Lucy?'' Asked Lin.

''No thanks,'' I said.

I've been sitting here, on this couch, in the living room in Lin's house for about an hour now.

The monster's supposed to come out in about an hour, when the sun will be setting.

I sighed and looked out the window. I was bored, waiting for the sun to set.

''How about we go on a walk, if you're bored?'' She asked.

I looked up at her, its a good idea but my legs were aching, after all the walking.

''I would, but my legs ache, I've been walking a lot today,'' I told her.

She just smiled at me and sat down.

''You seem to look sad when you look out the window.''

I turned to her.

''Well, I'm just thinking, thats all.''

She just nodded.

I closed my eyes. I cleared my mind and tried to relax. I needed to complete the mission, but to do that I needed to clear my mind off my problems. Like the affair with Vera and Natsu. Natsu kicking me out of his team. Being told I'm weak.

Stuff like that. I opened my eyes and looked at Lin, who was sitting beside me.

''You've slept for about 10 minutes,'' She said.

''I slept? Oops, heh,'' I said, letting out a chuckle.

''The sun will be setting in about 40 minutes.''

I nodded. I just wonder what that monster looks like, and well what exactly it is. I really hope I'll defeat it, I can't fail. I'm not weak, after all.

I got up from the couch.

''I'm going outside to get some fresh air, okay?''

''Oh, okay,'' She said, smiling.

I made my way out of the living room, and into the large hallway.

I sighed and walked over to the huge, front door.

I opened it. A chill ran down my spine, it was pretty cold. I walked forward and sat on a bench beside the house. I looked up at the sky.

''I wonder what that monster is,'' I said out loud.

I felt cold as the wind blew. I sighed and got up. I walked over to a small pond not far away from the house, I could see my reflection in the pond. I dipped my fingers into the pond. It was cold.

Then, suddenly I heard a roar. Could it be the monster? Damnit, I grabbed hold of my keys and ran towards the roar. I looked around and saw nothing. Lin was standing at the doorway, her eyes full of fear.

''Where's the monster?" She asked, scared.

''I've no idea, I was at the pond, when I heard the roar I ran here,'' I told her, looking around.

''Damn, don't tell me it went to town!!'' She exclaimed, her eyes full of water.

''Oh no.''

I heard another roar and ran.
