Chapter 7. After her

Gray P.O.V

I was shocked, I never called her weak, I just thought she'd be going on an easy job. Damn, now I feel bad. I watched her as she shouted at Mira and left. She seems to be in a bad mood. 

I walked over  to Mira, who had a frown on her face.

''Hey, what happened?'' I asked her, curiously.

She looked at me, sadly. ''Lucy went on a dangerous job, which pays 500,000 jewels. I told her not to go, but she wouldn't listen. I'm worried about her, she's been gloomy since she came here,'' Explained Mira.

''Damn,'' I said.

''I have a bad feeling, Gray,'' She told me, frowning.

I frowned. Lucy's like my sister, I don't want anything to happen to her. 

''Did you see exactly where the place was?'' I asked her.

''I think I saw town Ferga, or Fergas. Not sure,'' She replied.

I was worried about Lucy. All I could do now is wait for that dumbass Natsu to come back, wasn't he with her and Lisanna on a job? 

I sat at a table and closed my eyes. I then fell asleep.

***1 Hour Later***

I woke up to the sound of glass being smashed. I opened my eyes and got up. I saw the guild was at it again, the daily fights. They're as noisy as ever. 

I made my way towards the bar. I sat on a stool. ''Ohayo,'' I said.

''Ohayo,'' Said Mira. ''Do you want something?'' 

''Well, maybe a lemonade please,'' I told her.

''Coming right up!'' She replied, smiling.

Thats when the guild doors flew open, revealing Natsu, Vera and Lisanna. Oh and Happy who was sleeping on Lisanna's shoulder. 

Natsu started looking around. He walked up to the bar. ''Hey, did you see Lucy? I need to talk to her,'' He said.

I'm not sure if we should tell him about Lucy, but that could be the only person who can stop her, so I guess I've no choice.

''Listen, Lucy came here about an hour ago, she was crying and she was gloomy. She was looking at the job request board, and well I told her the ones she usually takes are beside the ones she was looking at, she then shouted something and cried more. She took a request that pays about 500,000 jewels and she let Mira know she's going on a job. Its a dangerous job, Natsu. Its in Ferga, or Fergas. Whatever,'' I explained.

His eyes widened. He looked at the ground, frowning.

''Damnit! If it pays 500,00 jewels its probably hard and dangerous! How could she go alone!!'' He nearly shouted.

''Just go get her,'' I told him.

Natsu glared at me before he made his way out of the guild.

Lucy P.O.V

Im on the train, on my way to the town Fergas. 

I glanced at the job request for the 5th time now.

It says:

We need a powerful mage who can save our village!

There is a monster, its big and powerful, which keeps on destroying the village, and only comes out before night. We're really frustrated!

Reward: 500,000 jewels.

Please help!

I wonder what that monster' looks like. And is it really that powerful? Only one way to find out, I guess.

I'm on this train for like an hour. But another hour til I get there!

I sighed and looked out the window. I felt tired, I slept for about 5 hours last night.

I closed my eyes. I dreamed about not having a single care in the world. It would be too good to be true. Everyone has problems, issues and worries. There can't be no one without at least one of those. Okay, maybe everyone except Natsu, who is just dense and acts like he doesn't have a single care in this world.

Wow, No matter what I think about, I just bring up Natsu at the end anyways, Its annoying. 

Natsu P.O.V

Damnit, did she have to take a train to Verga? 

''When is the train to Verga gonna come!'' I moaned.

''Its Fergas, Natsu. Not Verga. And I don't know!'' He replied, swinging his hands around. Oh wait I mean paws.. or hands.. wait.. Oh whatever.

I sighed and sat down on the bench behind me. We're waiting for the train for like 10 minutes now, and worse it takes 2 hours to get there! Damnit Lucy.

Finally, the train arrived. ''Happy, come on,'' I told him. 

''Aye!''

We got on the train, and luckily we were sitting alone, well I was lying down because I already feel sick.

''Damn, if Lucy was here I could rest my head on her lap,'' I moaned, my face turning purple.

''Thats true,'' Said Happy.

Lucy P.O.V

 I've been wandering around the city for an while now, looking for the requestors home. 

I asked a few people, and I got some more information. Of course, the address was written underneath the reward, but this city is actually very big and I'm already lost. 

I sighed and walked on, looking around me at the pretty and big city.

There's a lot of restaurants here, Natsu would love this city. Damn, I mentioned him again.  

I mentally facepalmed myself and walked on. I saw a girl with black curly hair standing in front of me. Maybe she knows where to go? I made my way towards the girl.

''Hi, um would you happen to know where this address is?'' I asked her as I showed her the request.

She smiled at me and looked at the request.

She sighed. ''Well, I didn't know my dad would really ask someone to help us,'' She replied, crossing her arms.

Eh? Her dad? Wait, is the requestor her dad!? So many thoughts raced through my mind.

''Is the requestor your dad?'' I asked.

She nodded.

''I'll take you to our home, come!'' She said, grabbing hold of my wrist and pulling me along with her.

''Okay!'' I replied, following her.

Little did I know, that this job is difficult, more than I thought.

Sowwy for not updating in a while!  I was busy, mostly with school. And I have a little test today. And I fell in school yesterday! xc 

So yeah this chapter is short because i'm writing this before school. I promise the next one will be longer! And I'll write it either today or tomorrow. c: Oh and sorry for grammar mistakes! cx
