Kara's POV
Did you know that the Phillips family front door has a chip in the paint on it? Yeah neither did I until I stared at the red door for a total of five minutes. Or maybe it was more? Anyways you get the point.
"Kara! Just go in there and stop staring at that stupid door!" Amy yelled from behind me.
Grumbling, I knew that she was right. It was my fault that I was in this mess and I need to clear everything up.
Slowly I reached down and turned the shiny silver door knob. When I entered the massive door there stood Max with a frustrated look on his face. A look of relief crossed over his face when he saw me enter the doorway.
"Finally!" Max exclaimed before grabbing my arm and dragging me up the grand staircase.
I tried to focus on not tripping and falling on one of the steps as I was forcefully pulled up the stars behind Max.
"Max, slow down and let me walk!" I told him but he just kept moving thru the halls not letting go of my arm.
After a few moments of me being dragged, Max came to a halt in front of a very familiar bedroom door.
"Good luck! By the way i'm sorry for accidentally telling him." Max told me before pushing me towards the door and walking away back down the hall.
The last time that I was here there were happy memories. Its crazy to think that only two weeks ago I was sitting in the room behind this door in front of me without a care in the world, hiding a secret and now that my secret is out, everything has changed.
I raised my hand tentatively before knocking lightly on the door. At first there was no response and I thought that Jason didn't hear me. I reached up to knock once more but a voice stopped me.
"For the last time, go away Max!" a voice shouted from the other side.
I sighed and knocked again. This time there was not a voice that respond, but footsteps. The door swung open and there stood a angry yet sad Jace. The moment his eyes landed on me he went to slam the door in my face.
I stuck my foot out to stop it you know how they do in the movies, but they didn't mention how much it hurt! I fell to the floor grasping my foot in pain.
"Ow that hurt!" I hissed out as I cradled my foot.
I heard Jace sigh above me before he spoke up. "Well, since you are are ok i'm going to go back to my room and you can leave."
Then Jace started to shut his door again. I quickly jumped up from the floor, ignoring the pain shooting through my foot.
"Wait! No, I am here to explain myself and I am not leaving until I do so!" I told Jace.
Jace stopped trying to shut his door and just looked at me. I took that as a sign to go ahead and explain myself so that's what I did.
"Look, I want to start off by saying how sorry I am. I honestly was going to tell you I really was, but honestly its not something you can casually bring up in a conversation. When I started writing those sticky notes I never dreamt of talking to you or even being friends with you, but yet that's what happened.I truly do care for you, Jace. I was scared to tell you too. Then again who wouldn't be and you have to understand that. I really do like you and I hope that you can forgive me."
I took a step back and a deep breath after I spoke everything from my heart. Every little thing I said was the truth. I just poured my heart out right here in front of the guy I like maybe even possible love.
Yeah, I might possibly love him. Might being the key word though. I honestly have know clue what love is since I have never really experienced it. Sure I love my family and friends but that's a different kind of love. A way different kind.
