Oliver walked down the iron stairs and put his gear down on the metal table in front of him. As he looked to the left he saw a beautiful blonde sitting in the desk chair facing a computer screen, with an earplug in. She turned around and smiled at Oliver.
"Oliver, hey. Good job out there, they sure won't come after you again," She said with a joyful voice.
"Thanks Felicity, but they weren't the ones I worry about. Did you find any leads on the missing cases?"
"No, I'm sorry," she said turning to the computer screen again and showing him some pictures of police sketches and statements "They're all connected, you can see that from the way he kidnaps them, he always pretends to be a delivery guy, when they open the door he pushes them to the ground, knocks them out, puts them in his delivery box and then just disappears. With the box ofcourse, and none of them are ever seen or heard from again. If it wasn't so serious I would've probably laughed at the fact that he disguised himself as a delivery man who randomly brings a box large enough for a human being to fit in, because come on that's like the way to kidnap people, I know sometimes it really is-,"
"Felicity, focus. What else can you tell me, did you find him or any of the missinfg people on any of the security camera's outside the buildings?"
"If I had I would've told you. It's like I said before; he knocks them out, puts his victims inside the box , walks out and disappears. When I say it like that does sound kinda spooky. Well, I'll keep looking tomorrow," She said while shutting the computer down. Oliver looked up as the blonde stood up and walked away from the desk to get her coat.
"What are you doing tonight again, that's more important than this?" He said sternly as she put the coat on and grabbed her purse and keys.
"Oliver, that's mean. I have a life you know, up there," she pointed to the ceiling and continued "And if you have to know I have a date, a blind date," she mumbled the last part a bit but Oliver heard her loud and clearly.
"Well, have fun then," He said forcing a smile. Felicity smiled back and walked up the stairs leaving Oliver behind in the dark basement. Just as he wanted to come after her, his phone rang.
"Hey Ollie," A familiar voice said.
"Hey Sarah, why are you calling?"
"Well, it's nice to hear you too," She said sarcasticly "but yeah your right, I need your help. The league made problems with this mob boss and I was ordered to, you know, take him down but even though I'm trained by the league of assassin's I can't. So instead I spied on him to find a weak spot or anything but I found something weird, he makes deals every Friday with the same person the same package, a large delivery box. I know you're dealing with this strange case of people who disappear, mostly in boxes, so last night when I saw the box moving I looked for a heat signature and there was someone inside the box," Oliver was stunned, the man he'd been looking for, for weeks was selling his victims to mob boss. It made absolutely no sense to Oliver. Why would he sell his victims? And what does this Mob boss want with him?
"Sarah, who is this Mob boss?"
"A big, very big guy called the King. All I know is he runs a great big deal of land. Even parts od Starlight city but he's good. Even though I follow him around he sometimes just disappears, like thin air and shows up the next day at another place," She said serious tone.
"Never heard of him but I'll see what I can find. And you say he's good well he hasn't met me yet. Can you give me a location on the meeting place next Friday, from that point I can take it,"
