When felicity woke up in the middle of the night she didn't knew what woke her until she saw the light in the kitchen was on. She stepped out the bed and put her shirt on while walking to the light.
" hello? Somebody here?" She said walking around the corner to look in the kitchen. She saw Oliver sitting, with his back to her, at the table with Ice on his hand. She couldn't see his whole hand through the Ice but she did saw the blue and purple tinted bruisings.
" what happend to your hand?" Oliver turned his head in her direction and gave her a fake, very fake smile trying to hide his pain.
"Its nothing, I just dropped a... a book on it, its fine" he Said while trying to hide his hand under the table, but felicity grabbed it and he flinced at her touch.
"Oliver this is not nothing, you need to go to the hospital it looks serious" She looked him the eyes. Oliver liked her concern, but he pulled his hand away before she could get suspicious. He couldn't tell her what really happened, how he tried to find her family but failed as he was attacked and his hand got stuck under metal rods that fell down from the ceiling. He looked down as he told her another lie.
"its nothing really i already went. They told me some ice would fix it" Felicity didn't believe him at all, but the thought that he already did so much to hide made her feel like she shouldn't go on about it. He would tell her when he wanted to.
"Okay" she said slowly turning around to walk back to bed "I'll be here if you need anything okay? Just don't piek under the sheets" she smiled and disappeared behind the corner where she cuddled the sheets before falling to sleep again. Oliver walked to the door to leave when he saw her cuddled up in the sheets with her blonde hair all over her face. She looked so peaceful and cute. He smiled and opened the door before walking into the darkness.

"You're late" Diggle said when Oliver walked in "why did you go over there?"
"where?" Oliver said sitting down the bed and looking at his hand. It looked terrible and he should've gone to the doctor, like felicity said.
"You know what i mean Oliver, don't act stupid" Diggle said grabbing his chair to sit right in front of Oliver. "What did you do in Felicity's room? We need to earn her trust not scare her with creepy night visits to see if she doesn't gets killed. We can't scare her away now, or she will get killed and were to blame."
"Diggle, i know. I just wanted to check on her, she seemed so quiet at dinner and yes, i know that her family is missing but it didn't seem like grief or anything at all like that it seemed like she was just trying to get as must information that she could get from us and sneek off later," Oliver touched his hand where Felicity grabbed "and i thought she didn't trust us, so i just checked if she was still there, and she was,"
"Oliver, why would she do that? Were helping her right?," Oliver nodded as Diggle continued "she has no reason to walk away and at least a dozen to stay. I know you want to look out for her but you can't do it like this, you need to earn her trust before you can be her guardian angel at night. You can't just walk into the room of a lady and expect her to be cool with it, believe me it doesn't work as much as you might think it does. She will trust us," Diggle swallowed his last words, but Oliver could still hear them "again,"
