Hey everyone, it's Arisa with some bad news on the Teen Choice Awards.
If you didn't know already, the Teen Choice Awards is an annual awards show that airs on the Fox television network. The awards honor the year's biggest achievements in music, movies, sports, television, fashion, and more, voted by teen viewers.
I think that by sending out the tweet with #TeenChoice or #TeenChoiceAwards, it's like sending in a vote for a certain category you mention in the tweet. My details may not be correct; feel free to politely tell me if I am wrong.
Anyways, results recently came out for the Choice TV: Animated Show. Miraculous Ladybug fans did their best in the fight, but it resulted in a loss. Of course we were devastated; however, this tweet sent out by Thomas Astruc and a bit of math resulted in a bit of suspicion as us fellow Miraculouers wondered how in the world Miraculous Ladybug wasn't selected.

After looking at a couple of these, to me it seems pretty obvious of which shows didn't break 10,000 votes. After one season of this show, the fandom has grown to a ridiculously large size.
Maybe they didn't want to realize this? Or how prosperous the show has gotten? Maybe it's message of female empowerment wasn't enough. Or not enough Chat Noir puns.
Yeah... That's gotta be it.
In whatever excuse, it won't be enough to cover our disappointment.
