Just today, I had the opportunity to meet Hawk Moth's voice actor, Keith Silverstein! I just learned that he was going to a con in my city just yesterday so I was like heck I need to go meet him and get an autograph.
And that's what I did!
I went to the con, although I wasn't sure if I was going to meet him again because there wasn't anything on the schedule saying he was having an autographing session. He had some panel about villains but my ride was an hour late so I knew I couldn't make it in time.
Luckily, I happened to walk up the right flight of stairs and happened to find his signing booth. Granted, I had to wait in a long-ish line but it was worth it.
Finally, it was my turn I handed over an image I purchased at the con and asked him to sign it for me. He asked for my name, complimented it, and looked at the picture I gave him.
This was it:

Word for word, this is what he said: "Adrien? My son?! Why isn't he with Nathalie?!" *whispers* "That's her name right? Yeah, Nathalie!"
I just laugh along because I'm just finding it super funny.
And then he looks at me and says: "Fly, my evil Akuma, and evilize her!" And points to me. Obviously, I continue laughing because heck this guy was so in character I couldn't help it.
(By the way, I would've gotten a photo with him like I did with Christina Vee but he charged $10 a pic so I was like haha no thank you.)
I thank him and leave, but after I left his booth, something clicked.
1) He called Adrien his son.
2) He threatened to akumatize me.
3) He signed "Hawkmoth" on the image of ADRIEN.
And now I'm thinking...
Did he give me a spoiler to the show and implied that Gabriel Agreste is Hawkmoth?!
I mean, the whole fandom is already on that whole thing, but did I actually get confirmation from the voice actor himself?!
Like yes, I know they share the same voice actor, but he signed as HAWK MOTH. And his prints on his table were HAWK MOTH. And he threatened to akumatize me for LETTING HIS SON ESCAPE.
