Mia looked into the bunch of reports in front of her, this was indeed getting complicated. No matter how she tried to analyse the results of the blood test,it came up with a familiar blank. Her eyebrows crunched together as she concentrated, then as if she was struck with a lightning she got up and raced towards the shelves behind her. Locating the answer to the possible mystery in front of her , she finally told the rather weary looking man
" Well, it's a clear case of wolfsbane poisoning however they also added arsenic, hence her body is not responding to the medicines."
"What? How... did that happen?", he was agitated with news and started pacing all around the room and at finally surrendered by saying " Cant you do anything Dr.Mia?"
"I would look into the cook and the messengers, and also look out for the dark nails first, Alpha Smith", she replied with a hesitant smile.
Alpha Smith stopped pacing immediately and in three broad steps came over and hugged a slightly astonished Mia, and then laughed rambunctiously. Mia thought that the war and the weakening condition of his mate had affected Alpha Smith's eccentric behaviour, and how on earth was she trapped in all this?
"of course.. brilliant Mia", bringing an end to her daydreams and mumblings.
"Sorry to interrupt, but its.... Oh my", a deep voice effectively ensured that Mia and Alpha Smith scatter in different corners of the room. However that did not stop from the deep voice breaking into laughter. Mia for the life of god could not imagine what was so funny, in fact it was scandalous, and why on earth was Alpha Smith smiling sheepishly at her. She glared at him and with lot of effort finally managed to construct "Alpha Smith please refrain in future". Of course it did not help matters when the beholder of the voice wiggled his eye brows suggestively, Mia knew she had turned into a distant cousin of tomato.
"Er, Um apologies Mia, but you are indeed brilliant which reminds me", the eccentric Alpha Smith rushed out and of course on his way the hallways of the hospital knew how fantastic and brilliant Dr. Mia was. She just shrugged and finally faced the wiggly eyebrows, her dearest mentor and friend the legendary "travelling doctor" Zach with a warm smile. Zach engulfed her with his distinct bear hug, which soon became ticklish for her and after some time as the quiet settled in the chamber, he announced
" We have been called by your father."
