Again (A Niall Horan Fanfic)

Chapter 21

I got into Nicole's car and she stated driving to the grocery store.

"So happy birthday girlll!" She said to me.

"Thanks" I smiled to her weakly.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"Nothing" I mumbled.

"So how many happy birthday's have you got today?"

"Too many to count" I laughed slightly.

As we pulled into the parking lot, Nicole spent like 10 minutes looking for a parking space.

"Nicole! Find a damn parking space already!" I shouted softly but impatiently.

"Sorry" She muttered.

Finally she parked and we headed into the store.

"Oh yeah. I forgot to ask, why are you so dressed up?" I asked.

"Just came back from a dinner with my parents" She said.

"Oh" I said.

We walked in and I completely forgot why we came.

"So what do you need?" I questioned.

"Candy sorta stuff"

We got a couple things like cookies, candies, and sodas for I don't know what reason. But oh well.

We checked out and walked out. Then we started driving back to my flat.

"So are you coming over?" I asked.

"Yeah, if that's okay with you" She answered.

"Yeah" I nodded.

I got out of the car to see many other cars parked in front of out apartment building.

I just ignored it and walked up the stairs to my apartment. I got to the door and searched for my keys in my purse.

Once I found them, I pulled them out and unlocked the door.

I walked in to see all the lights off. I turned on the light to see tons of people.

"Surprise!" They all yelled in a sync.

"Oh my god" I said in complete shock. "Thank you so much"

There was a disco ball, black lights, and a glow ball thing.

I looked around to see the boys, Max, people I knew a long time ago, and tons of my friends.

I pulled Niall to the side.

"Did you plan this?" I asked.

"Yeah" He nodded.

"I love you" I said.

"I love you too"

"Shanda!" I heard a familiar voice scream from behind me.

I turned around to see one of my old friends, Ally.

"Ally? Is that you?" I asked.

"Yeah" She laughed.

"Sorry! It's so dark and it's hard to see" I apologized.

"It's fine. Happy birthday!"

"Thank you!"

"Shanda!" Someone yelled.

"Yeah?" I yelled back.

"Come here"

I walked up to the front, where the mini stage was.

Niall stood on it and started speaking in the microphone.

"Since your a bit Mexican and I know how much you love tacos, we're having tacos" He said.

"Yay!" I exclaimed with excitement.

I love tacos.

We ate, chatted, danced and everything. It was amazing.

"Presents!" Harry yelled.

I brought a chair up on the stage. (If your wondering, yeah it's a big apartment)

I sat down and Nicole handed me presents.

"Alright. Let's see..this one is from Louis, Harry, Zayn, and Liam" I read

"Oh gosh. I'm scared" I laughed, ripping off the paper.

So I got a couple gift cards and some bath and body works stuff from the boys, tons of money from everyone, and a couple other little things.

Next it was Niall's turn.

"Here you go babe" He handed me 2 small boxes.

I took one of the lids off slowly to see a diamond heart necklace. I pick it up and flipped it over. It had an 'S + N = <3' engraved in it.

I looked up and gave Niall a huge hug.

"I love it so much, thank you baby" I whispered in his ear.

We pulled away and he put it on me.

"Now open the other one" He instructed.

I pulled off the lid to the other box and saw 2 tickets. I picked it up to read what it was and it was 2 tickets to Hawaii.

"Oh my god, Niall" I said in shocked. "Thank you oh my god!"

I hopped up and kissed him passionately as I jumped up and wrapped my legs around his waist to where he was holding me.

We pulled away after a couple seconds.

"Thank you. I love you" I told him.

"I love you too, love" He gave me a peck on the lips.

I hopped off and he made his way to the stage.

"Now time for my speech" He said nervously in the microphone.

I gave him a reassuring smile to let him know not to be nervous.

"This might sound cheesy at a point but oh well, this goes out to my love. Shanda, I know your a bit upset about turning 22 but it's alright, we'll grow old together. I know we had our ups and downs but I actually never stopped loving you. I'm so glad to have you back. I actually couldn't be happier. Now I don't wanna make this too long but one more thing...I love you my love and happy birthday" He spoke in the microphone, where every word he said would be loud and clear and really touched me.

By the time he was done, a couple tears fell down my face. He came over to me and hugged me until I stopped.

I couldn't have ask for a better birthday.
