Chapter 6: Its Been a While

(Makaya's POV)

After finding out that I've been accepted into Neymar's institution I quickly took a shower but I didn't know what to wear so I called Aaliyah to help me.

"Aaliyah come here! "I screamed.

"What do you need my queen." she said while laughing.

"I don't know what to wear today." I told her

"Seriously Kay." she said.

"Um yes I'm being serious." I laughed

"Okay let me see." she said while walking into my closet

"Um wear your black crop top with high wasted shorts, a fannel, and white converse." she said.

"Wow that didn't take you long." I said

"Your welcome bitch." she said playfully rolling her eyes

"Obrigada "I said while smiling

"Oh look at you I see your working on your Portuguese. I'm pretty sure Neymar speaks Spanish." she said

"I know but- " Aaliyah interrupted me
"But you just want to impress him." she said

"Maybe." I said kinda blushing.
"Awe your blushing." she squealed

"Well I'm happy you not thinking about that asshole Jackson." she said getting a little angry

"Calm down me and Jackson are over for good now." I said not wanting to talk about this

"Good I know how he hurt you."
she said.

"Yeah yeah leave so I can get dress." I said quickly.

(20 mins later)

I went downstairs I was about to grab my keys when I heard the doorbell ring so I answered the door, it was my brother.

"Elijah!" I screamed.

"Kay I missed you so much" Elijah said back with joy.

"I missed you so much Eli" I said and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Where's Aaliyah" he asked.

"She should be in her room" I said.

"Oh so I heard the good news congrats lil sis" he replied with a smile

"Thanks" I said.

(Aaliyah's POV)

I heard voices downstairs so I decided to go downstairs to see who it was and it was Elijah

"Well I'm surprise to see you here" I said rolling my eyes.

"Hey sis I just wanted to stop by before both of you guys leave" he said coming for hug I dogged it.

"How come you didn't respond to any of my texts " I said getting kind of frustrated.

"Aaliyah stop" Makaya said.

"Listen Aaliyah I'm so sorry I've been busy with traveling and with Joshua" he said.

"I'm not going to make this a big deal so I forgive you "I said dryly

"Well I want to take you two out for lunch today if that's okay " Elijah said

"That would be great" Makaya said with a huge smile on her face

"Yeah" I agreed.

(Elijah's POV)

The car drive was silent for some reason so I decided so break the awkward silence.

"How have you guys been" I asked.

"Great" Makaya said with a smile.

"What about you Aaliyah "I asked.

"Fine" she said with a straight face.

"When do you leave for London" I asked Aaliyah.

"Saturday "she said with a dull tone.

"Ohh that's nice" I said not knowing what else to say

"Okay guys can we please have a good time" Makaya replied.

"Okay" both me and Aaliyah said.

I know Aaliyah is still mad at me for not replying her texts but she has to know sooner or later.
