Chapter 27: Soto's Family

||Makaya's POV||

I didn't sleep well last night knowing that I wasn't there for coach Neymar already left for his interviews and photoshoots I finally decided to get our of bed I took a long shower brushed my teeth I did my hair and put light makeup I went in my closet to look for something to wear I chose something simple I chose a black top with shorts jeans and a flannel and black vans I put my hair in a high bun I went downstairs to eat something I saw my mom and Aaliyah in the kitchen

"Morning" Aaliyah said

"Morning" I mumbled

"Morning sweetie" my mom said

"Mhm" I mumbled I opened the fridge and grabbed a Arizona iced tea

"Kay please talk to us" Aaliyah said

"I'm leaving" I said walking out of the kitchen

I got in my car I looked at my phone I noticed I got a miss call from Elijah I just rolled my eyes today I'm going to see Coach's family it didn't take long to get to their house I knocked on the door Paula Coach's wife opened it

"Makaya" she whispered

"Yes I'm here" I smiled weakly

"Come in honey" Paula smiled

I walked inside the house nothing has change everything is still the same 

"Come sit we have a lot to talk about" Paula said walking in her living room

"I'm so happy you're here" she smiled

"I just wanted to see you guys" I said

"I'm sorry I thought you knew" Paula said looking down

"How did it happen" I asked

"It happened after practice he was on his way home" Paula said sadly

"How is Carmen and Santiago?" I asked

Carmen and Santiago are Soto's kids I didn't get to say goodbye to them before I left for Barcelona

"They're doing better now" she said

"Mom" I heard someone say

"I'm in the living room" Paula said

"Hola mama" Santiago said then he noticed I was here

"You're back" Santiago said shocked

"Yeah I'm only here for 2 weeks" I said

"Oh" Santiago said then went outside in the backyard

I hope Santiago got over me I remembered his dad always wanted us together but I just never liked Santiago in that way
