Chapter: 12

It was my first day back to school since Thanksgiving. It was also my first day back to school since spending time with Liam.

Walking to my locker all I saw were prom posters, picture day posters (which were by the way tomorrow), suggestion sheets for our senior trip, and suggestion sheets for our graduation and prom venue.

It all made me nervous. I'm a senior graduating in a few months. I met up with Liv at my locker.

"How was your Thanksgiving"

"Amazing" I responded.

"Oo your parents must of cooked up a storm"

"Actually they were working. I spent Thanksgiving with Liam. At his house. Alone" I said winking at the last part.

"Please tell me it happened"

"No. It has not" I smiled.

"You're such a tease"

I laughed, taking my Government notebook out of my locker.

"Hyde is being such an ass these days" she said changing the subject.

"How"

"He barely answers my call and when he does he never wants to do anything me. He always has this lame excuse that he's busy but I'm not buying it"

"What do you mean"

"I mean, I know he's cheating on me and I'm gonna cut his balls off when I see him" she said.

"Woah woah woah. You don't even know that"

"Its obvious"

"No its not. Don't assume because if your confront him and then your wrong, he's gonna have something over your head. Don't give him an advantage"

She rolled her eyes.

"Fine. But if he keeps this up you know what I'm capable of"

I laughed. "I know"

It was my lunch but I had a English test tomorrow so I decided to go to the library to study. The elevator was broken so I had to walk up four flights of stairs.

When I got to the second flight there was split coffee all over the stairs so I took the back staircase. As I approached it I heard noises.

When I got there I saw a guy sitting on a steps with a girl sitting on top of him. They were kissing but when they pulled apart I saw it was Hyde.

They both saw me and I walked away quickly.

I heard footsteps behind me and I turned to see it was Hyde.

"Melanie wait"

"Are you crazy?" I yelled.

"Melanie please"

"Don't you dare"

"Please" he begged "You can't tell her"

"How can I not tell her. She's my best friend"

"Melanie this is a one time thing. I swear its not gonna happen again."

I put my hands over my face stressed out.

"Listen to me ok. Here's what your going go do. Whoever that slut is that you've been seeing, your going to get rid of her. Tonight your going to call Liv up and take her out.

You've been slacking on that. You're going to apologize for cancelling on her so much and tell her that you'll make it up. Kiss her, have sex with her. Just do whatever you have to do to gain back her trust because she already suspected you were cheating."

"No problem. Thank you so much Melanie."

"I didn't do this help you. Liv is actually really happy with you. I don't want to see her get hurt. So don't ever do this again" I said walking away.
