Chapter: 24

I woke up the next morning from Sam tickling me. I've told him a million times that I wasn't ticklish but he never listened so I always just played along.

"Mom said to bring you these clothes to change"

"Thanks" I said

He stood in front of my bed starring at me.

"Well can I have some privacy?" I asked

He laughed. "Oh I see, you want me to kick you out" I said smiling. I grabbed and him and threw him over my shoulder. I spun him around and then put him down in the hallway. He was laughing uncontrollably as I closed the door. I took off the gown and changed into yoga pants, uggs, and a pullover hoodie.

When I left the room, I couldn't help but look for Evan in his room. The door was closed.

I stood there for a good 5 minutes debating if I should knock or not. "No one's in there" I heard a voice say behind me. I jumped at the sound and then quickly turned around.

Of course it was Evan. I was leaned up against the door as he stood only a foot away from me.

" You were looking for me?" he said cockily.

"I just wanted to say goodbye"

"Oh don't worry this isn't goodbye"

"What makes you so sure?"

"Because I think you're cute. Which means I'm going to make it my mission to see you again"

"And how are you going to do that?" I asked

"Let's make a bet" he said

"What kind?"

"If we ever see each other again, you have to go on a date with me" he smiled

"A date? But what if-"

"No what if's. It's either yes or no"

I thought about Liam and what he said to me. It only made me angrier.

"Ok" I said

"Great" he said "See you soon" he said walking into his room.

"Hun are you feeling?" asked my Mom when we got home.

"Much better. I just wanna sleep"

"You should. I have to go into work so I called Liam over to stay the night"

I rolled my eyes. I really wasn't ready to see him.

I stayed in my room the rest of the day. I wanted to grab a snack but I didn't want to see Liam. I knew I couldn't avoid him forever so I just decided to go.

The house was quiet so I assumed Sam was sleeping. I found Liam in the kitchen sipping on a ginger ale.

"Mel" he said suddenly perking up

"Hi" I said awkwardly walking to the fridge

As I was about to leave he stopped me.

"You can't avoid me forever" he said

"You think I want to?"

"So then don't" he said grabbing me and kissing me. I was so lost in his soft lips that I forgot why I was even mad. I suddenly pushed him off.

"That is not going to change anything"

"Mel you know that I didn't mean any of that. I love you."

"Yet you still said it" I said walking away.

He followed me out of the kitchen.

"So what is this over?"
