Shattered Thoughts : Book One(Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier)

Chapter 19

   As soon as they were in the house, Tallulah plopped down on the couch like she'd lived there her whole life. Crossing her legs, Tallulah looked up at Bucky and Willow. 

  Bucky took a seat across from her, and Willow pulled her wheelchair up. "Bucky, Tallulah is a double agent. She works for SHIELD, but she's been in Hydra for years. She's been my best friend for years."

"Then why did she attack us?"

"Because I wasn't sure if you were still under hydra's control. I wasn't going to risk blowing my cover," Tallulah snapped. "I just came to check on Willow, and to give her some information."

"Let's start over. Before you two rip each other's throats out," Willow said sharply. They both feel silent. "Bucky, this is Lulu. Lulu, this is Bucky. We're all friends here."

"Lulu?"

"Shut up robot boy."

 Willow, Lulu, and Bucky talked for a few hours. Lulu catching them up on recent events, telling them about the Avengers, and HYDRA. 

 "I still can't believe they didn't make you change your name Lulu," Willow was saying.

 "What's wrong with Tallulah? As I recall, your elementary school nickname was Willy."

"I hate you."

"I know."

  Willow spread her hands, as though making as big announcement, "The world's most feared hydra agent. She has a heart of ice, and knows no mercy. Children weep for their parents at the thought of her. What's her name? Lulu." 

 Bucky snorted, choking on his drink. Then he laughed so hard that he fell off his chair. When he looked up, both Willow and Lulu were shooting him amused glances. 

Standing up, Lulu said, "Well, I better get going. Next time I visit, try not to kill me. Okay Bucky? Toodles."

  As soon as Lulu had left Bucky looked at Wilow, "Willy?"

"Shut up Bucky."
