Ash's pov
I was sitting and listening to the guys talk as my phone started to buzz. I stood and walked out the back porch and answered.
" hello?" I asked as Jay walked out looking at me questioning.
" hey sweetheart. Lynn is wondering when you are gonna be home"
" tell her that I'll be there when she's gonna be asleep. I'm just hanging out with some new friends I made today. I'll go in and give her a kiss when I get home"
" can she talk to you. She's refusing to go to bed "
" yea. "
" mama"
" hey baby girl. I need you to be good for grandma and go to bed for me. I'm gonna be home late so I'll give you kisses then. Have grandma read you your favorite story book and be good. "
" ok mommy. I love you"
" I love you too baby. Goodnight. I'll be home soon"
" ok. Night " I hung up the phone and looked at Jay. He raised an eyebrow as I felt my stomach drop.
" who was that"
" I " I burst into tears. He walked over and hugged me.
" it's ok to tell me. I won't judge you at all" I sighed.
" I hooked up with someone before I got with James, the one who died, in college and he didn't know when to stop and I got pregnant.. I now have a beautiful 4 year old daughter. She's having troubles sleeping because I'm not there. Her only father figure died 6 months ago..."
" your a single mom?" I nodded
" my mom will occasionally stop by and help me but I'm mostly on my own and trying to work to help us stay in our crap apartment. "
" you can come stay with me. I can help with her. What's her name?"
" Lynn and I don't want to be a bother but thank your for the offer"
" you're not being a bother to me. I would love to help you. I wouldn't mind watching her while you are work when I'm not on tour. " I nodded. He's apparently in Slipknot which is amazing. I didn't even realize till I saw the rest of them. I shrugged.
" I have two extra rooms. The house is much bigger than I need. I just use on of them as my art room but I can put all that into my own room. I seriously don't mind at all"
" I'll think about it " he nodded and smiled.
" thank you a lot. You are too nice to me"
" your welcome and why wouldn't I. You're such a lovely person to be around. " I blushed.

We all sat on the couches as a few sat on the floor as the kids all went to bed about an hour ago. I started to slightly fall asleep on Jay but fought it. I soon have up and gave in falling asleep on him.

I woke up and rubbed my eyes. I looked around to see everyone was still asleep. I looked at Jay. I have to admit. He was very cute and so sweet. Ugh I can't be falling for him. He's probably not into me that much. I stood as he slightly shifted and opened his eyes.
" whatcha doing?"
" can you take me home?" He nodded as he stood up and walked to the bathroom. I stood my the door and check my account phone. So many missed calls from my mom. Shit. I stepped outside as I called her back.
" Ashley Rose Young! We're the hell have you been! You said you would be back later tonight. Not all night until 6 in the morning. "
" I'm sorry mom. I accidentally fell asleep. I'm having Jay come and drop me off. "
" I don't even want to see that boys face. He can't be doing that to you! You are a mother! "
" I'm not dealing with this mom. I'll be there in a few" I hung up as I sighed leaning against the wall.
" you ok?"
" yea. Just my mom being pissed at me for not showing last night. " I said as we both got into his car.
" that's all fun to deal with. " he said as I gave him directions to my house.
As we pulled up my mom was standing on the porch with her arms crossed. I got out with Jay and walked up to her. She walked over to Jay and slapped him I grabbed her and pulled her away from him
" mom! That was unnecessary! I don't care what you say it was my choice to stay out and hang out with friends! Now get out of my house. You need to learn to treat my friends with respect or you ain't gonna see me much!" I yelled as she shook her head and pushed us out of our way and I rolled my eyes as I walked in the house.
" make yourself comfortable. I'll just be in this room over here and then I'll get Lynn if she's awake" he nodded as I walked in my room. I closed the door as I sighed. I took of my shoes and dress. It's suppose to reach up to the 90s today which is gonna be nice. I grabbed my dark gray crop top tank top and high waisted blue shorts. I went over to my mirror and pulled my hair into a messy bun and kept my make up the way it was since it didn't smudge. I walked out and check on Lynn. She was still sound asleep so I walked out the living room as Jay was looking at some of my drawing on the wall.
" Artist?" He asked. I nodded as he smiled.
" they are pretty amazing. " I shrugged.
Soon enough Lynn woke up and I made her breakfast and handed Jay plate. I smiled as he sat next to Lynn at the table as they talked. Lynn loved meeting new people.
" mommy I like Jay! Can we hang out with him more often?"
" yes honey. Jay will be your new babysitter when I'm not here "
" yay! I get to see Jay!" I smiled as he laughed. I guess I have my answer now.
