Jays pov
Ash and Lynn have been living with me for about 10 months now and yea get along really well. I really wanna ask her out but I don't know if she likes me back. She walked over to me and sat next to me. She smiled
" hey I was thinking maybe we could go out to dinner sometime" I asked nervous. She smiled and nodded.
" I would love to Jay. " I smiled and nodded as I rested my hand on her knee. She looked at me as I started into her light green eyes. I put my hand on the side of her face as we leaned in.
Maris pov
We had a surprise for Jay so me, Sid and Mark drove to his house. I grabbed the bag with his gift and smiled looking at Sid. I noticed the door was cracked. I opened it to see Ash and Jay making out on the couch. I went to turn and walk out but Sid pulled out his phone and took a photo. I rolled my eyes
" Uncle Jay" I bit my tongue as they both jumped and looked at us.
" sorry the door was cracked and we wanted to give you something. Didn't mean to interrupt "
" it's all good Mari. What's in bag?" He asked turning a bit red from embarrassment. I handed him his gift as he sat down to open it. He pulled them out and screamed jumping up. I laughed as Sid recorded his opening. We got him the drum stick set he's been having his eyes on for awhile. He hugged me tightly and hugged Sid and I smiled
" thank you guys so much. Oh these are so awesome. This means so much to me you guys. "
" no problem brother. We knew you wanted them so we got them for you. " I smiled and he nodded.

After a few hours of hanging out my phone began to ring.
" hello?"
" hey it's Kyle. Can you please come over.." It sounds like he has been crying.
" yea. I'll be on my way in a minute" I hung up and looked at them.
" can one of you drop me off at Kyles. Somethings up" Jay nodded standing.
" I'll be back. " they nodded as we left to the house and quickly got in the car.

I walked up to Kyle as he was sitting outside on the porch with his head down. Jay drove off as I walked up to him.
" the police are on there way.." He said sadly looking at me. I looked at him concerned.
" go up to our room.. I'll be right here waiting. " I nodded as I walked in. The house felt off. Something was wrong. I walked up the stairs and I walked up to the closed door of there room. I honestly was terrified to open the door. I opened the door and screamed. Blood everywhere as Janes body laid in the middle of the floor. A pool of blood laid under her body. I looked at the wall and saw writing.
You don't need her Kyle. I'm the only one you need to love.
I began to sob as I sat on the floor not going into the room. My best friend is dead... I got up and ran down the stairs onto the porch to Kyle.
" it was my psycho ex girlfriend.. She never got over me. " he cried as I hugged him. The police and ambulance soon arrived as they went inside and took me and Kyle aside to question us

A few questions in, they wheeled out a body bag and I ran over stopping them.
" please can I see my friends face for the last time.." I asked letting tears fall. They nodded as they unzipped the bag and I looked at her. Her face pale and lifeless. Blood stained her skin as I looked at her stomach and chest. Tons of stab marks and blood. It didn't help that she wore a white crop top with black shorts. Her black hair all over the place.
" I love you Jane.." I whispered as they began to take her away. I walked over to Kyle.
" how'd she die?" Kyle asked the police officer.
" stabbed 40 times in the stomach and chest. She bleed out. "
" I came back from the store and I found her. I know who did it. "
" who?"
" Karen Lee Wells. She's my psycho ex girlfriend.." He said sadly

Me and Kyle arrived home. I was gonna let him stay with us since he really has no where else but tonight I was currently spending the night at Shawns with everyone. I walked in as everyone stopped talking.
" hey.. Kyles gonna stay with us for awhile if that's ok.. He doesn't have anywhere else to go " I asked Sid as he nodded.
" yea that's fine. What's wrong you guys"
" Jane.. She's dead" I whispered as he hugged me tightly as I cried.
" what's going on?" Shawn asked walking into the room looking at us.
" Janes dead"
" she was murdered by my psycho ex girlfriend.. " Kyle said softly. I felt a lot of arms around me as I looked to see a lot of the guys hugging Kyle. After the hug I pulled out my phone and stepped aside calling Janes mom.
" why hello Marina! So great to talk to you. I was about to ask if you had talked to Jane recently because she hasn't message me back all day" she asked and I sighed.
" that's why I called. I'm so sorry but she was found dead in her and Kyles house.. She was murdered by his psycho ex girlfriend.. " I heard her mom start crying. We talked on the phone for awhile so I could help calm her down. We made plans for things for Jane as I finally got her mom to sorta calm down.
" well I best be going but please call me if you need anything at all. I am your second daughter you know. " she laughed slightly
" yes you are. I'll see you later. Goodnight Marina "
" goodnight" that was very different. I still can't believe that she's gone.
