**IMPORTANT AUTHOR'S NOTE AT END! PLEASE READ!**

Rachel pulled me into Twisted Toppings, a cute pizza shop. The door rang above the door as we wandered into the shop.

My stomach rumbled loud as the smell of pizza hit us. Rachel laughed at me, "We better get something to eat!"

I nodded in agreement as we sat at a small corner table. Soon, a high school girl walked over to take our order. "Hi, welcome to Twisted Toppings, my name is Shanon. How can I help you today?"

"I would like a Pepsi and a personal pizza with extra cheese please." Rachel looked at Shanon. A personal pizza was a small pizza that had four slices.

She wrote Rachel's order down then looked at me. "I'll also take a Pepsi and a personal pizza but with cheese, pepperoni, and stuffed crust."

She wrote down my order quickly. "Okay, it will be about twenty five minutes."

Rachel and I nodded as she left the table. "So," Rachel said, twirling a piece of her hair around her finger. "Remember how earlier I told you I had to tell you something?"

I nodded, "Yeah?"

"Well I wanted to tell you that...," she trailed off.

"Go on," I encouraged her.

"Well, remember Tommy Walsh?"

I nodded," Yeah, he sat behind me in English last year. He always pulled my hair."

Rachel blushed, "Yeah well heaskedmeoutandIsaidyes." She said really quickly.

"Whoa, wait, what? Can you slow down just a bit? I didn't understand you. He did what!?"

She took a deep breathe. "Tommy asked me out and I said yes."

"OMG!" I squealed. "Congrats Rach, I didn't know you liked him!"

She blushed, "Yeah for a while."

Shanon came back with our drinks and I picked up my Pepsi. "Let's toast to you and Tommy."

Rachel picked up her drink and tapped it against mine. "To you and Tommy, may you be forever happy!" I said.

"To me and Tommy!" She echoed. Just then the bell above the door dinged and I looked up to see Shay and her posse walk through the door. She scanned the crowd and her dark eyes flared when they landed on me. She held my gaze for a half second before turning back to her group.

They walked up to the counter to order and I focused back on Rachel. We talked about everyone in our grade and she gave me the latest gossip that was going on.

Suddenly Shay walked up to us holding two Pepsi's in her hands. "Hey Ri!" She said super cheery.

"Hi?" I said hesitantly. There was no way this was going to be good. Shay was never nice to me.

She smiled sweetly at me. "Well, since I haven't been very nice to you in the past and since I know how much you like Pepsi," she motioned to my half full glass sitting on the table, "I thought I would get you a glass. Here." And with that she poured both of the glasses of soda on me.

She stepped back and smirked, "Wet dog. That's a good look for you." She turned on her heel and her group started to follow her back to their table.

I pushed my wet hair out of my face. "I can't believe her!" I growled under my breath to Rachel who was looking at me with her mouth open.

"Ohmygosh! Rilee! Are you okay!?" She said, reaching for a handful of napkins.

"Yeah," I said. "Just mad. I think we should just take our pizzas in a box and go home so I can take a shower and change. Is that okay with you?"

"Oh my gosh, yeah! Totally! I would want to do the same if I was you!" She said. "I'll tell Shanon while you try to clean up."

"Okay, sounds good." I swiped the napkins across my forehead as she walked up to the counter. I heard the bell above the door ring again then I saw a guy standing in front of me.

"Hey Matt," I said.

"Oh my gosh Ri, what happened to you?" He said, taking in my dripping hair and soaked clothes.

"Shay happened," I replied grimmancing. "She dumped Pepsi on me."

Matt's mouth opened, mirroring the look on Rachel's face earlier. "Now she's gone too far. Up for a Milee Prank?"

I smiled deviously, "I'm always up for one." A Milee Prank was what we used to call our tricks on people when we were little. One Halloween we had dipped onions in caramel, stuck sticks in them, and gave them to everyone we didn't like. They thought they were caramel apples but they found out they weren't!

He grabs my sticky hand and helps pull me to my feet. Rachel comes back with our pizzas in little boxes and I smile gratefully at her. "Thanks Rach, I really appreciate it!" I smiled at her. "Now who's ready to go get payback- after I get cleaned up!"

Both Matt and Rachel agree and we head to my house to make a plan.

Oh my gosh!! I am so sorry guys! I know I said I would try to update more once school was out but I have been super busy! I love you all for being patient with me!!! 😙😙

This was a long chapter to write. Hopefully I'll get her vacation wrapped up so the second book will start with her back at school!!

So it has been brought to my attention that a few readers think that Rilee is too young to be saying "I love you" and kissing guys and I totally agree!!! So Rilee is now fifteen, she will be turning sixteen January 10, and she is a freshman in high school. Thanks so much and keep up with the great comments!! ❤❤

Does anyone have any good ideas for a prank they could pull on Shay? I've looked some up but I don't overly love them.
One more question for you guys. What does it mean if you had a dream that you kissed a guy from your school and you really enjoyed it, even in dream state? Thanks! 😙❤

Love y'all,
Abbi🌺
