Agent Y/n began the short walk up one flight of stairs to Steve's apartment door. Nervously he began to go over what he would say to Steve:

Hey, I like someone and need your advice.

That simple statement was the hardest thing he would ever say. The risk of making things weird between him and his new ex assassin friend was great, but his crush on Bucky was greater. The brief walked seemed as if it had been shortened by Y/n's stress over the issue at hand.

He had arrived at the simple apartment's brown wooded door and began to sweat as he straightened his clothes. Mustering his courage Y/n knocked on the door, Steve always answered the door quickly, but this time it took a little longer for the Dorito-like blond to answer the door. As Y/n waited he noticed a second voice from behind the door.

Though before he could attempt to guess Steve's guest, the man opened the door. A light smile graced his features as he leaned on the doorframe, "Hi Y/n," he said casually. After one deep breathe Y/n spoke, "Hi Steve, I have something I really need to talk about. Are you available at the moment?". His smile faded a bit "Okay, would you like to come in?". Y/n nodded as the handsome man directed him inside his humble abode.

Just as the door closed Y/n figured out just who Cap's guest was: none other than the man of the hour, Bucky Barnes. There, sitting casually on Steve's brand new sofa was the very issue at hand. Y/n's face flushed an aggressive red at the sight of him. Dressed casually in sweatpants and a black shirt with his hair pulled back sloppily he looked just as great as usual. Suddenly self conscious Y/n looked at Steve, "Could we maybe talk outside?". Nodding his response they walked outside the apartment door.

Now curious Bucky began to listen to what they were saying, how do I tell him? And what will he think? Those two statements made a great impression on the man, as a flirtatious smile graced his rugged features. He simply began to wait for Y/n AMD Steve to come back inside the small house to confess his feelings.
