Beaten and Bruised (Part Two)

A/N - Finally!

Y/n's crazed calculating eyes carefully watched the still water encompassing her glass prison. Solid blue in all directions. Though the lack of things in the water told her that she was in a controlled environment.

Pushing on the sides of the cage, she screamed. Screamed for the Avengers. Screamed for her loneliness. And screamed for Bucky. Suddenly, a voice other than her own rippled through her anguished cries. "Stop!"

Wiping her tears she defiantly continued to scream and attack the glass cage. She punched the glass until her knuckles cracked and bled, spilling crimson petals onto her ripped clothes.

The voice shouted again, "Stop screaming or I'll kill them."

The man's disembodied voice sure had Y/n's attention now. "Don't you dare hurt my friends." She whispered, red hot anger seeping through her cracked frame.

Laughing poured into her glass tank, just as her knuckles bled onto smudged glass surface. She exploded onto her feet and attacked the glass container with all the pent up rage the vile HYDRA accomplice had summoned. A hair line fracture appeared, dripping with the blood from her shredded hands.

"Foolish. You could have been realeased Y/n." The man paused before speaking again. "I hope you can swim!"

The tank then opened and the water began flooding all of Y/n's senses as she clawed her way up.

Her lungs began straining, a cold sense of dread ate away at the pit of her stomach.

I'm not going to make it.

I'm going to die here.

The adrenaline began to kick in as she desperately swam up.

Just as she involuntarily breathed in her head surfaced. Coughing up water and crying, she serveyed her surroundings. Noticing she was surrounded by a glass dome, she noticed a glass observation deck near where her tank must have been.

Forcing her screaming muscles to move, she swam towards it.
