Still in disbelief that her lover had left, Y/n sat dazed beside Steve. Every time he went to speak, his blue eyes were met with her broken expression and he was silenced."T-this is my fault Steve." She choked out. Suddenly Steve was able to speak, though he looked away. "How is this your fault?"
"If I hadn't of said anything, he wouldn't feel guilty!" Y/n cried, as tears began to stream down her cheeks.
"He always felt guilty Y/n, he never liked the thought that he had hurt you." Steve replied, now able to make eye contact.
"Do you think he'll come back?" The girl croaked.
Steve's lips formed a slight frown as he answered. "He's one stubborn guy as I remember him. Though I'm not sure, he's changed quite a lot."
Y/n moved closer to Steve, once again placing her head on his shoulder, as she held onto his arm. "Do you think he'll find someone else?" She whispered.
Steve practically mirrored the mix of emotions Y/n felt. "He couldn't find anyone that made him feel the way you do. Bucky loved you more than himself I think."
A wry smile formed on Y/n's tear stained features as she sat up; taking her head off Steve's shoulder. "I-I think he just needs to figure this out for himself. He knows he's being a bit irrational. I hope."
Steve knodded as he watched Y/n sit up and stretch; feeling his own mixture of emotions. Sadness. Anger. Admiration. Love.
He loved her, but never said anything. Bucky needed someone more than him, or so he thought.
A/N - This is a bit of a teaser. I'm also going to limit requests to one a week. So I will publish them in between regular updates.
